Friends were texting me all morning as I sit in the office...said it was chest high even through the high tide on LBI... With the nnw this morning couldn't imagine north would be cleaner... Looked fun to me...

 

Yeah, I woulda banged outta work for this but it wasn't doable today.

I stared at this pic for 5 minutes trying to figure out what the hell I was looking at before I realized it was upside down.

 

yeah thought it was only going to be decent in the early morning and it's still going off... sat through a 2 hour meeting and have a pile of crap to deal with on my desk. I wish I would have bailed on that meeting and snuck a few in

 

I was thinking about testing them today and just not coming back from lunch. I don't think they'd fire me.

I was really surprised when I rolled up to the beach this am. It as raining and the winds were blowing hard offshore. Dead high was in about an hour. As I'm sitting alone in the parking lot listening to the wind I'm thinking to myself, it's not going to be very good......WRONG. Chest high, really clean, I don't know if it was the wind keeping the wave from closing out but Iv never seen waves peel so perfectly at home before. Felt like I was surfing a point break. Only 3 other guys out. It really honestly hurt to leave. Especially since the tide was dropping and things probably got better

I scored good waves at high tide this morning of all times...I even saw a fellow Sweller

 

Chest high, long peeling lines in Maryland. Virtually no one in the water knowone.

 

This was your redemption for that stupidity on Saturday! Think about it...
