Any feedback on the Superbrand Fling? Shop dudes say it's badass but I would like some pros and cons. I'm on the fence.

Buy it. Get back to us with a review.

"Designed as a shorter more modern performance spin on the keel fin fish, it has all the grooviness of the throwbacks with none of the weird oldness. It’s fast down the line, lots of lift, tight through carves, and progressive in the pocket. It’s versatile: it can be surfed assertively off the tail, or with light feet for those that love airs."

Almost pulled the trigger on it today. Was pondering do I check cell messagesmor go to shop first? Checked cell: septic clogged and sink/shower upchucked and flooded. My quiver expansion is subsequently hindered for some time now. EEEFFFFFFFFF

it really bothers me when they show small wave/groveler type boards being ridden in fairly good surf. that's not the board i'm picking to ride when it's chest-shoulder high & lining up like that.

All the time! So many companies making boards with basically the same hook: "makes it fun to surf on those 1-2 foot weak days where you normally wouldn't bother!!" - then the video promoting that board inevitably shows nothing remotely like 1-2 foot surf where you wouldn't bother - usually perfectly walling up 3-4 foot waves.

exactly,id love to see someone riding it in real 1-2' conditions.I got 2flings one for me and one for my son.its a killer board for its intended purpose, small mushy stuff, but you cant really ride it in 1 ft waves if you are an average surfer like myself.super brand is high quality, and they give you fiberglass/honeycomb fins with board. winning-duh

yea, super is definitely one of the better "big name" surfboard companies for that. they also use "S" glass standard on their standard poly boards, even stock ones. ci charges something like $60 extra for that.
