With all due respect for your prognosticating training, code blue for AI & OCMD in the face of 30 knot NNW winds, with stronger gusts, is, uh, reaching just a bit. I can dig your need for clicks & eyeballs, eyeballs & clicks, that way we don't pay for the site, we just see the same Honda ad 800,000 times but c'mon...that's a howling wind booming down the beach & making surfing conditions 'code crap'..... Surfline does the same shiiiite. Sending out 'alerts' when it's 3-4' for OCMD; what they fail to mention is the 30 knot el gusto. For the record, and by comparison, Hurricane Artie was a tad under 25 knots & even that was still a witch trying to paddle over the top & into the face with those gusts. Just sayin'.....accountability & accuracy in the FUcasting field begets respect.
heres' how. data crunching of machine info is just that. what it lacks is humanity - that is; an interpretation by humans. this is best done by those who have experience and are focused on just that.
I wouldnt think it would be that hard to write script that said if the wind forecast is over 25 knots from any direction (even offshore) then no green code if thats what the forecaster wanted to display.
Stankee, this is a free site and you don't have to use it kook. you can always get your lazy arse off the couch and go look at your breaks if you don't like the free information here. learn how to read buoy data.
If it's head high, 30 knot offshore, raining, air temp is 45 and water is 60 what suite should I wear?
Hey, he's back, the tuff guy teacher who can't spell, talkin' shiiite & livin' large cause you're such a CORE muthafukkkkaaaaaaaaa. What a douche canoe. Get back to us when that mound of pig shiiite that's located 3 feet above your ass develops a brain signal.
Unfettered hatred Man, I hope something wraps into where I be at, be these winds. I really need to dip my balls in some barrels.
Yankee! I thought you waz like the ambassador? Like youz the one who ownz the breakz in AI! With all your crediblity when it comes to your opinions you know. So you think this weekend will be blown out? I see you joined in 2008 is that the year you started surfing? Let me drop my 0.02 yankee cause I know you like to pick it up....You really like it don't ya?
yes, indeed... As an example, wind are NW 25mph in Ocean City, MD. If this was 10mph, it would be green, but because its 25mph, its blue. Ultimately, however, the data is all there, so hopefully you don't have to rely simply on blue/green/red and you can read into it a bit...
Right on..good stuff. I personally like surfing (trying to surf) in stiff offshores, as long as they are straight offshore!
I post one bit of blah blah blah about a FUcast & the trolls come wanking out of the woodwork. It's ok, sparky, you can go back to cleaning skidmark's asspons. Don't get yourself so worked up. Or, get worked up. Who cares.
