single fin, squash tail, 6'X 21W by 2-3/4 thick? WTF. i couldn't even guess how that would ride. what are the bottom contours on that thing? my guess is that it will be the most fun board you've ever stepped on, or it'll be in the list of Craigory in 3 weeks....no in between. hope it's not the latter.
WOW...... What happened to all your Bings ? Seems you backed off the # of LB's and back to the shorty's
I had a single-fin wide squash tail that was about exactly those dimensions a long time ago, called the Fat Albert by Surfboards Australia. Not the Asian pop-out SA brand, the original Austrailian Brand. Lets just say its been hanging on a wall bone dry for quite a long time.
Dear Robert Kingsman, Nice boards... nice shapes... but will they hold up to the Belmar? yours truly, Mr Belmar
those things are awesome! that 6'0" especially...that thing's going to rock, i bet! you may have seen a pair of campbell bonzers while you were there...those are my unfortunately dinged babies. picked them up this afternoon.
Yeah I had a Plastic Fantasic that was shaped in the early 70's in that same dimensions as the 6'0 in the picture. It rode really well but didn't turn well due to the bulky rails . I took the same dimensions to Wynn and we came up with something that would work a lot better. It has a tad more volume in the chest to compensate for winter rubber and still able to be ridden in small summer days if desired . The nose and tail are pulled up slightly and it has a moderate bottle though out the board. The longboard is a compromise of my three favorite longboards I own. It should be a great all around longboard for small to head high waves . I had so rocker added into the tail so it when you lock the tail in for nose riding it will keep its forward motion and be able to turn very easily threw turns
Yeah I'm really stoked on them both . Im gonna play with a 8 inch and 7 inch fin and seen what I like best join the 6'0.. Yeah I actually seem them when I was there lol
