Bloodletting. Went surfing on a cloudy dark summer day, no wind and a nice big ground swell. This song came on just before I got to the beach. As I walked over the dune this big set came in. This was about the time the song came out. If I hear it today, I still get visuals of that day.

I don't know what it is about this tune, maybe it's the wave breaking at the end of the video...but man, when this came out it was played on the way to the beach EVERY time before a surf...and I'm not even a big Pearl Jam fan.

 

There's a show called Iconoclast that features different celebs that are pals. Eddy is Lairds buddy. One of PJs song is about Mr. Hamilton. The night it debuted in LA, Laird felt he had to ride his bike from Da 'Bu to the venue to deserve the opportunity to see it??? His wife took a limo.
