It was actually quite good in the afternoon... huge wet Nor'easter snowflakes stinging your face in the 35mph offshore winds hurt tho:

    Is that Gloucester?

New Hampshire was a sloppy mess, so we headed north to Kennebunk, which held its shape until about 3 when it started to get a little too windy/chaotic/sloppy.

We drove up to Higgins and found to to be very relaxed, chest high, no chaos. Surfed into the darkness.

Would like to point out that I had two "career waves" yesterday. Still playing the highlight reel in my head.

Got a few nice ones. That f***ing wind though. This guy was not ready for that. I need to work on dealing with that. Note to self, if it's strong enough to make your car do funny things on the highway on the way it, hilarity will ensue in the water.

New Hampshire was f-ing awesome yesterday at the right spots and right tides. Just needed to hit those nooks and crannies and you were scoring along with 20 or more of your closest enemies at any given cove/point.

Where were you at? Jenness held together sorta. Crazy drifting though. Paddling more than riding trying to not meet that houses front steps on the far end. Wish I was at the level to be comfy at the reef. Wind looked dead serious.

Good stuff! My ole man is from there, I've never surfed up there though. Looks coooooold! It was a bit nippy out here in FL, but must of been nasty out up there!

Yeah no thanks HAHA Although, with proper equipment it's doable. I went out in 2mm shorts and top, shoulda brought the 3/2 to endure the wind a little better. Still managed nearly 4hrs though, just had to lay flat on my board and keep my head down most of the time between sets as I kept paddling against the drift, air was in the 40's in the morning, water 75ish, wind consistently in the 20 knot range, with 30-35mph+ gusts. If it were not for the wind it would have been comfortable. The water felt like a bathtub compared to the air.

How was the beach/cove in Glo? Those shots are of a place where noone paddles out

The southwest end of the beach was getting a few of the huge overhead set waves you see there, the cove past the island / other end of the beach was also firing/huge (this is where most people were surfing), the next beach past the cove was only getting 3 - 4 foot max

Good Harbor was nuts with the snow stabbing me in the face. I'd've stayed longer with warmer gear, but still fun. Some big tubes, but brrr.
