    Thanks Andrew,

They are very nicely drawn shapes. If you like I'll send you a fin when we make some from your templates.

Pivot... If you are looking for feedback and input on fins, I think that the Pivot would be more applicable to a larger array of boards and surfers than the other 3. I would like to see them all, but I have a few different boards where a pivot fin of various sizes would be fun to play around is, where the LOG and other really only have a limited application. They would all be fun to try, but from a numbers standpoint, I would say that there are a lot more surfer and a lot more boards out that could use the pivots...

Just my .02 . I have never put a log fin on my LB, I have a long pivot with side bites, but I guess that would probably be a good idea to throw a log fin on, run it single just to have a different option.

Make I am trapped in a paradigm on LB fins, but I have a squirrel and a couple Pivots and I am shopping for even another pivots for the LB. In modern LB applications, I have found the pivots to be the most versitile and responsive regardless of what you are doing in the water. It really is amazing how much of a difference the positioning of the pivot fin is. An inch forward and it's like riding a completely different board. These days, I keep it almost all the way up front so I can swing it a lot easier.

Anyway, Pivot fin was my vote...

Don't worry yall, in less than two weeks, I will be attempting the 10 words of less threads.

I could have just said: "Pivot" and clicked post.

Luddites don't buy into the Black Friday marketing scheme, breh. They don't need to. Suite first post though.

    Hi Roy,

I got the Bleffs! Awesome work to the touch and the eye. It's VOS conditions now, so maybe by Thurday we'll have a clean up and a report. I'll switch this over to the BLEF tread. Thanks for the trial.

    Respectfully,

The fins are not moulded, they are #3Dprinted.

Here's a cross section of the RAE102 foil on a fin, showing internal structure:

i like all of the various colours the fins come in. do you happen to have any small trailing centre fins i could use on my ...Lost round nose fish? perhaps if you PM me, we can have a dialogue about it. are most of your fins made from fibreglass? are your products all made by using local labour?

The less informed of us tend to standardise our terms together (i.e. moulded, printed) despite the clear differences in technology. We will be believers upon positive ride experience.

Hi Salt, the fins are made via 3D printing, using high impact polycarbonate.

Trailing fins available at present are:

3.5" Spitfire BLEf 'nubster' (fcs or futures)
4.25" Spitfire BLEf cutaway (fcs or futures)
4.5" Spitfire BLEf cutaway (fcs or futures)

Straight from the printer...a few photos of the 3.5":
