Went out this morning to paddle around a bit and get some time in the water. Wore my 3/2 with shirt/hood (didn't need the hood). Wore gloves but NO booties. My feet were COLD!!! So for all of you inquiring, the time has come for booties!
Thanks but I think it's personal preference. Three weeks ago I was out all day in a spring suit and was good to go. Everyone else I saw, full suit. My thermostat may be off, though
this weekend I saw guys in full on winter gear...water temps still in the upper 50s./low 60s..boots maybe...gloves no way. But I agree with Baddy...I don't put them on il until I absolutely have too...
With temps in the 30s Sunday morning in Rhode island, the guys with no gloves were miserable waiting for waves at matunuck. I just wore 2m flash bomb gloves and 3m boots, but I stayed warm.
This is questionable. Though Jules is female, this forum, by and large, is a men's locker room. After watching an episode of Sons of Anarchy yesterday, I've seen enough man arse for a while.
i'm glad i'm not the only who had a thought like this. fullsuit, hood, gloves...no boots? very odd choices in wetsuite apparel.
Isn't that the worst. You see the big N for nudity and think you may see a nip. Nope, man butt... always man butt.
Yes, I was high Actually, air temp was way colder than the water and the wind was still blowing so I thought I'd keep my hands warm.
Ditto. My feet were cold walking back but there is long way to booties or gloves for me. Then again, I am not 5'7 and 100 lbs either.
no no it was my 10mil. My feet got cold during my evening gonzalo sesh, a week later we had waves up here, so I got the dive suit out. Once the water hits 58 im done for the season, see ya next year!
What he said, And why, just why, would you wear a hooded rash guard under your suit and not even need it? Am i missing a new style trend?
