I can't because I'm in NJ, but I still hold a NY license.
But I'm sad I didn't. The commercials made the candidates very strong. It seems like you can't go wrong.

Everyone says they are going to lower taxes, lower crime, fight corruption, create jobs, increase wages, save babies and cure cancer...
And all their opponents are criminals that rape cats.

    Voted.

I suspect the left is going to suffer a major blow.

It'd be nice if they'd "allow" (us lowly serfs) third parties to debate the big dogs once in a while. Virginia has a high polling libertarian on the ballot, they won't even let him in the same room as the other candidates, nevermind on camera.

Not yet but I will. Have to do my civic duty of figuring which candidate is going to do the least amount of damage.

    Yep.

Agreed. The last pres elections the independent candidates tried to enter the building during one if the "debates" and they all got zip tied to a chair. If Gary Johnson ever got into those debates I'd bet a week's wages you'd see a huge uptick in interest for the Libertarian party. And that's why they won't let him anywhere near it.

Whopper or Big Mac, pick your poison, that's all you get.

    Freedom of speech...democracy...my a$$.

See my last post in the "what are you listening to" thread for my thoughts on the matter.

yes, we have a fat idiot running our state (though he has said some poignant things on occasion) and no, i'm not referring to NJ, i'm talking about the other fat idiot running a state...

Johnson would have destroyed those two clowns.

Nevermind judge grey. Jesus risen from the dead giving out free passes to wherever he's from couldn't have saved Ryan and Biden in that debate. He would have eaten them and spit them out.

100%. It was never supposed to be this way. Power is way too centralized. One could argue against that point, retort could be how is it not centralized when the only options are two completely polarized options? Jump off the cliff, or stand down-range at the mortar training facility. You're still ****ed and left holding the bill.

We had two libertarians on the ballot here. One for senate and one for city council. I don't really acknowledge the city council guy as truly being truly libertarian though, because he works for the federal government. That's a huge conflict of interest in my book. I don't think anyone who currently works for the government (local, state, or federal) should be allowed to hold elected office.

Sarvis is an awesome dude. Absolute bull**** they wouldn't let him debate. He'd be the best thing that's happened in a very very long time.
