Well not yet but this winter. Where does everyone in Mid-Atlantic go to ride? I got a pass to Whitetail/Roundtop/Liberty due to location and a couple friends having passes there. What about everyone else? Would love to get out and shred with some people! Need to acquire a crew of shredders on this coast!

Liberty. Mom dukes retired up that way, so I am always good for at least one snow trip up there. Closest thing to me down here is like NW NC, 6-8 hours. bummer. I might try some sand dune snowboarding and see what happens.

Love Whitetail. Blue is decent, lot of rails, jumps, etc

Killington is my go-to. Prior to school, I was there WAY too much.

If you feel like driving, it's well worth it. I've ridden everything from AM-ski east coats out to Utah. East coast, driving distance, killington is where it's at. The river is fun, those lines though....eh

Last time I was there, they had a SOLID park. They take good care of their surface too.

East coast is tough. Different Beast all together. If you ever get a chance to ride UT, get out there. Beyond the absolutely ridiculous parks, the snow itself, you'll be more interested in riding the bowls and natural terrains. The views are incredible too, a lot to take in at once. I got vertigo first time way up. Sensory overload if all you're accustomed to is east coast riding.

Nothing like powder riding. I haven't been able to equate the "new" feeling to anything until surfing.

So yeah, gtfo to Utah. Push the limits a bit, powder is forgiving. Just don't panic in an inevitable "hold down", aka face plant 3ft deep in powder. You will make it out. It's going to scare the piss out of you though.

Uh, hey, skidmark....? Yeah, you. The OP wants to establish a cool crew on THIS coast. Not in effing Utah, you Mormon freak.

Again with your relentless narcissism: you've done it bigger & better & in more places than hayzeus effing keeerist, by your own immodest blithering verbal shpeckle. Dude, just talk to your mirror. It will always be there for you.

? I just told him he will have a blast out there. Should I remove personal pronouns now too? Not a sprinkle of narcissism. Your complex and infatuation with my posts is both flattering, and slightly alarming. Man crush Mondays brah, it's Wednesday.

My favs are Jay Peak, Killington, Gore, Sunday River and the Loaf. Closer to Jerz I get the mountain creek pass and hit it with my kid on weeknights one night a week at least and Blue in Pa is ok. I usually put up about 30-50 days per winter.

boards.jpg heres my new stick took it out 6 times since purchase and it hands down the best board I've ever owned. The magna traction allows rail carves on any condition.

I worked at Vail for 2 years. Been to Utah, Tahoe, Montana and Wyoming... It's another world out there. That's why I like Stowe. It's got the most "out west" feel of any mountain on the east coast.

I'll hand it to stowe, snow gun wise, next to none. Each place has that special air to snow ratio. Except cannon. They just hate us.

Did they (stowe) ever go American ski co?

    Nessie...
I hit Liberty and Whitetail with fair regularity. I do the "Night Club Card" which is like a night season pass, that does not start until Jan 2nd. I also got the advantage card, so daytimes are possible. But I snowboard like an old dude, cuz, I'm an old dude... Mostly just lots of big carves. I prefer Whitetail, I think it is just better all around facility wise.

Come to CO dudes. I might be able to hook ya up with some discounts on tickets. Keystone opens this friday. It is definitely surreal out here. Going on 2 weeks and its amazing even without the snow.

Assuming we get the similiar amounts of snowfall this year which is predicted me and my buddy have a little jib course we set up in his backyard. Other then that there all the same until you get up into nothern NY. What's up with those mounting pads or whatever that are on that board Nj glide?

Actually spent the last 10 years riding Southern Utah, the snow is as epic as they make it seem. Fluffy powder up to your waist and wide open faces. But that is the past! I'm a park rider primarily anyways so most these east coast resorts will fill my desires.
