No, not be fine, you may be a BIT warm, but don't get your hopes up. step it up a few notches and use a 5/4 for sure, or like I do, wear a spring suit under a 3/2.....gets me by

3/2 in New Jersey goes from May (some years you have to wait until late May) through late October / early November. Where july/aug/sept, you are not going to need it.

About 3 months of the year for New Jersey.

Eh just grow a pair. I've done it through Jan-Feb... 1-2 hours. Gets cold... but if you don't get flushed you'll be fine.

I used a 3/2 with booties and gloves as late as Dec 29th. Going out there NOW in just a 3/2... props, man.

All this 3/2 talk and people out there in the winter with them.. I just don't get it. Get yourself a little quiver of suits... its an investment and great one.

Before you go out an buy a suit let me tell you how I saved some money. First, I started working out. Then, with my newly acquired muscles, I killed and skinned a grizzly bear and used the fur as a wetsuit alternative. It's environmentally friendly and straight up badass. So give it some thought

True. Trying to get by with a 3/2 in our area is just retarded.

Yeah, I don't get why they even do it... I mean everyone is different but how can you NOT be cold let alone enjoy the surf.

WhiskeyMilitia has them on all the time... earlier today they had an XCEL 4/3 for $170. I've seen them cheaper but that's a heck of a deal.

Bought my Rip-Curl 6/5/4 that retails for $400 off there and paid $150. :D

I live and VA Beach and I have been surfing a 3/2 year round, sure it is cold but my hands are usually the first to go, you just gotta stay tuogh. Lots of guys do it. I know for sure I don't have the money to buy a 5/4.

Thats what I'm doing now, and it works, but not the best. Better than just a 3/2 though. I would definitely spend the $$ to get a 5/4 but I just started a job and I think I just might stick it out till spring. Plus there ain't sh!t for waves lately, and I don't really wanna go to all the effort of putting all that rubber on for a 2hr - 2ft sesh.

I'm just hoping on some head-high barrels soon

I need to get a new suit because I have outgrown mine. I need a size small, any thickness, relatively cheap but no holes or tears. post a reply on here, thanks!

I have a job. And two during the summer. It'd be nice if someone paid my schooling for me.
