Why do you feel the need to validate yourself to me? It's all good bro. I believe you. I really do. Keep all those memories "in your head, for you and your friends"...... Whatever lets you sleep at night. I don't blame you, I don't buy most of the sh** people say either. As I said before, it would be different if I was on here telling you that I spent Big Wednesday getting 30 foot shacks all day.... But when a simple story, about me filming a lineup clearing winter death set gets your panties in a bunch, I am not sure what to tell you. If you find that far-fetched, that tells me a lot about you as a surfer, if nothing more. Because if that is unbelievable to you, that leads me to believe that you have never been there, or done that and should probably not waste money going to Hawaii and watching people do what you wish you could do. Just saying, it goes both ways bro. And you are the first in line telling everyone how small the surf was, and how weak everything is.... And to date, you have done nothing, and said nothing to provide any validity to you as a surfer. Cause here we go: "I am going to be like Liam, and go to the North shore in the winter...... .... and sit there and watch"
LOL! I'm actually talking about all your stories (hold downs close to death lol, volcom lol, surfing massive blacks lol, saying that people think you are some ripper, all of your stories). I can't believe any of them. I'm sure you believe them. Anytime you tell enough bs, you start believing it. I'm going to start telling my stories of mavericks, blacks to contribute as a surfer. The problem is you are only a surfer if your stories are actually true. I doubt your stories are true and I doubt you are even an average surfer. Please prove me wrong with another bs story, lol. I don't care if you believe my stories. I know what is true. If you want to gain friends on an internet forum with your bs stories, that's great. When, you go out into that real world your bs stories don't matter or hold up. You are just an internet surfer and your feet never touch the water.
There's a reason everyone stays anonymous on this site haha. Real surfing won't hold up with their stories on swellinfo forums.
Well you know according to Liam 3/4 of the surfers wouldn't exist today if it wasn't for web cams...He takes that salt life to another level...salty....
Exactly bro. At least we can agree on that. While like some fishing stories, maybe a few things grow over time, but there is not a story on this site I have ever told that is untrue. And the people that were there with me, the ones that I care about and love all shared those times with me... So, your opinion doesn't matter. I really don't care what a bunch of people I don't know think of me. But if you think that surfing blacks, or getting into a confrontation with lifestyle pros is so incredible to you, that makes you very, very lame. Period. And if you are going to cite me, at least get it right. I have NEVER surfed blacks maxing out. NEVER. I have surfed it plenty big. But I don't surf beach breaks of any kind over 10 feet. There is no need to do so. Way better options in a land of waves, points and reefs. You should know this. You know some guy in San Diego, right?
I'm a local on the north shore since I go there every winter, lol. Just like you are a local in San Deigo or transplant actually. I have surfed San Diego and do have friends that moved out there. Why does San Diego impress you. doesn't impress me. If your tales about living in San Diego make you feel like a god, that's pretty sad. Just please keep your stories to yourself. No one wants to hear about them. Just look at your past post with all your stories. I'm sure you will get the gist that most people are sick of hearing about it. You have diarrhea of the mouth. You are like a ***** who doesn't shut up until she has my **** in her mouth.
LOL. Definitely crusty here. Just tired of people feeling the need to tell stories because they have a small *****. **** envy makes people insecure.
And this is why you are a kook. "I have been to SoCal once, it doesn't impress me. I am from Jersey. I go to Hawaii in the winter. I am *****". You are a ****ing *****. And the definition of a kook. Mr. fu**ing Jersey know it all. Right, Blacks doesn't exist. The west coast doesn't barrel, and Jersey has made you into the wave slayer that you are today... ****ing clown.
That's b/t you guys, but I empathize with your crust, as I feel I'm getting crustier with age. I am curious to see this video though I must say. I can attest to the fact that Zach's a good dude, he helped me out with some internet stuff.
My internet forum surfing abilities are next-level, brahs. Plus, it's totally OK to "sit there and watch", but you need beer, and maybe some cabbage. Definitely beer though.
San Diego doesn't impress you...like at all? And you're a surfer? You must be jaded, or just muy muy macho. Like, lots of serious machismo. There are so many good waves in SD, in my mere average surfer opinion, it's redonk. Been there a bunch of times. I can imaging how it's annoying...crowded, traffic, too many Carls Juniors, etc...That could leave a bad impression. But man, "not impressed", hmm.
Yeah dude drink a couple brews, smoke a doob and paddle out...Unless of course your in Belmar and it's 23+ TOH....
Not saying it doesn't have great spots and great waves, but it's super crowded and full of blantant kook drop-ins. I know it gets better waves than Jersey. There are just way better places to travel to with better waves and less crowds. That is all. When I pick a place to travel for surfing, San Diego is not on my list. Some people have tunnel vision. Zach always defends San Diego even against far better surf places. It's because he surfed there and is trying to validate it to himself. That's all.
I never said I know everything and that I'm a wave slayer. Just saying that you probably are an average surfer like most of the kooks in San Diego. Yes, there are really good surfers in San Diego but a huge number of kooks. You are probably the later. I also never said Jersey has better waves. I said San Diego is more consistent. Don't worry, San Diego is the best surf spot in the world since you surfed there. You need to get out and travel more. There are far better places. You defend San Diego and the west coast because you want to feel superior. Don't worry, it doesn't have to be best since you lived there for a few years. Other places can have better waves, it's okay.
You also talk about surfers in Cali being aholes. You sound like one of them. Ok. Enough fun for one day, I have to get to work. My job doesn't give me all the time you have 24/7 to post on this site. Time to sling rock.
Whatever brah. Been to Hawaii a couple times and it was flat more than it broke. I am not going to judge the islands off a few blown trips. Not saying SD is the cat's meow, I am just saying that most of my body of work has happened there. And to hear an outsider, who knows nothing of it chime in to "kick knowledge" to me is just laughable.... You can hate me all you want, but every time you sit there saying that SoCal is weak, and San Diego doesn't impress you, it just makes you look like an asshole. That's all. Hate on me all you want, but don't take shots at a beautiful, wave rich coastline cause you happen to not like what I have to say. All I can tell you, is if you clock one winter in that region, not just a couple days, I guarantee that you would change your tune. I don't hold Hawaii accountable for the fact that I am an island wave skunk. If I buy a ticket for HI, the ocean takes a nap... It's not their fault, I guess it's just a sign.
