it just got better all day, it was bonkers at 430
I surfed a different spot, this afternoons pipe session seemed a bit above my pay grade

Yes, this is why when MIS says that he surfs pipe, I actually believe him.

I waited for 2 hours for 2 waves at the bay Tuesday night, did not surf pipe, got one wave at the bay wed night, but was only waiting 30 min for that one
rode a 10'0 gun, stoked, def sat on shoulder outie of boil, not taking off super deep, but I got some that felt good

3 waves at the bay goes a long way in the mental wave spank bank

Wow. You are like my new idol on SI....perfectly said...

Would you go watch the event at Haleiwa, or do you think its kinda more a touristy thing?

    I am not an idol, I am a jerk-off.
Idols are teachers and people who work for a living (except lawyers, marketing folks, and cops)

I am pretty busy with my life and if I go watch it I wont be able to surf
I do try and make a day or two for the pipe masters and an afternoon for sunset qualifier. Sitting in the crowd with chics in thongs with a cooler full of beer and watching the best surfing on the planet is amazing.

yesterday would have been nice to watch, but then I wouldn't have scored my one wave

Just a misprint on the main page. Not sure why. If you click on the Event PDF, it gives you all the details. I was wondering the same thing. Wrong side of town and all.
