I never gave that much thought. all I can say is are you up for eating cockroaches? BTW cockroaches, shrimp, and lobster are all in the same family class. oh and another thing, most those societies that eat bugs also consider dogs and cats delicacies.
Bahhh I can top that. Humans have incisors to eat meat.- Dentists. In all honesty though I don't get how people think we are supposed to not eat meat. Our teeth and digestive system is designed for a diet with meat. Do you get angry with lions for eating a zebra? I mean that in all seriousness. As to your famous quotes, I think people that put people down for eating what our bodies were designed for and what our brains tell us to eat are stupider than a bag of monkey sh!t. I don't care if they invented geometry, wrote books or led a peaceful movement and practiced yoga all day. If you want to eat vegan then more power to you and more meat for me but you and your attitude that you are more "enlightened" or something than those of us who eat meat can go swallow a big meaty cock. Put your tinfoil hat back on before ET scans your brain waves and probes your A$$ some more.
I can't got through all 21 pages, but: 1) It takes life to sustain life on this planet. Be it from directly eating plants or animals - things gotta die for other things (humans) to live. 2) GMOs are not going to feed starving kids in some remote 3rd world country. 3) No one has legit studies on the long term consumption of GMO foods in humans because the damned gov has no idea who has been eating them since they never told anyone it was in our food. All we have is correlation between increase food allergies and the introduction of the GMOs. 4) Natural selection is great, it keeps all these farmers having to buy newer chemicals to spray, creating stronger bugs, making Monsatan and the like richer while polluting the planet. Mass monocrops is not the way to farm at all. We need crop diversity and natural predators to control pest in the long run. Killing everything that crawls and flies is not good. 5) Fu(k this West wind.
um cows have incisors too but last time I looked they were designed to eat grass dikwad. yeah yeah humans have canines yes I know we are omnivores. but that's as far as ill go concerning your response. your location description says a lot about your personality. this is why I will not respond to your comments anymore. you lack the aptitude to have an intelligent conversation. your lack of aptitude is why you gave no thought to the quotes to the relation of my use of the word karma and did not responded to them in an intelligent way. those people that you claim put down eating meat gave the choice between meat or not great thought and contemplation. something that wild animals lack. and I now know something you lack too. bro do you even suk dik?
From what I've heard crickets tend to be the most popular. It is a good idea though, especially with our limited space and growing population. Bugs grow fast and they don't take up a lot of space.
Sorry you don't like that I'm up in your mom's vag hole but hey she loves it and your dad even films it. And no I don't suk dik but your wife sure does! If you think a human is anything other than a wild animal at heart then you really do live in a hippy haze huh man. 60's still going on in that head of your's man? The world is bad, waaaahhh, meat is bad, waaaahhhh, Govt is mean, wahhhhhh. You are such a whiny little conspiracy nut. The fact that douche bags like you think you are sooooo superior with your arguments and famous dead A$$ vegans shows that you are the closed minded ones, you are they a$$hats and you are the condescending, high horse sh!t bags that cause the problems in the world. Vegan/vegitarian jizz buckets like you look down on meat eaters from your "throne" even though we are following what nature has told us to do. I guess what I'm saying Archy is that you and your kind like to act like you are for freedom but in the end you want the world to follow your ideals. how are you any different that a dictatorship? Oh and P.S. bigfoot called and he said he was sorry he left that jizz load in your bed after banging your wife nutjob. Oh and I know you said you were done responding to me but I see you viewing this thread. Tinfoil hat response in 3, 2, 1...
I will say this," at the current rate of enviornment being destroyed meal worms may become a food staple. nhttp://m.livescience.com/25709-mealworms-sustainable-meat-alternative.htmlecessary food source.
ahhhhaaaa! Dances with Smurfs my man! Oh and I must say I am proud of our resident conspiracy, doomesday nut for not replying to me like he said he would.
rcart, thanks for clarifying that. I see now that I'm not your brother or your son. We just happen to look alike.
The argument really shouldn't be about eating meat or not. It is about how the food is produced/processed. Mankind would not be what we are today had it not been for our meat eating, animal killing ancestors. Even God had animals sacrificed to him in the Hebrew bible. It is absurd the way livestock is mishandled and treated in this day and age. The slaughter houses are disgusting, the animals know they are going to die and get stressed out- which is bad for the meat you eventually have on your plate. They live an all round ****ty life. It cracks me up how people get bent over the Orca's in Blackfish, or the dolphins in The Cove or dogs and cats that are abused and treated unfairly. We step on the brakes and let geese cross the road as we drive home to see our pets but we could care less about the chickens, pigs, cows etc? They are living beings too and deserve to be viewed the same way. Puppy mills suck, sea world sucks and factory farming sucks too. By all means, we can and should be able to eat meat, but at the expense of the welfare of our environment and the animals (as well as our bodies to an extent) we should really limit the amount consumed. When that happens, the demand for mass meat would drop equating to less dense farms and increasing the over all quality of life for animals that are being raised. For the record: I personally am not a vegan. I have not had any beef, poultry or pork for 3 years and do not consume dairy as well. I do eat seafood and chicken eggs and what ever insects crawling on my vegetables lol. I have no problem with anyone and their diet of choice, I do have a problem with ignorance though. You want to eat that steak? go ahead, but understand what is going on and how it got there- then make an educated choice guided by your moral compass on what you want to support and put into your body. Maybe you will go out of your way to buy the steak that was grass-fed and humanely raised next time. Same thing with all the other animals. And yes, I know the fishing industry is just as bad with some of the sh!t they do, but again there are better options when purchasing to support better/sustainable methods. Life is life, got to treat it with respect..
Maybe distant cousins? Bravo my man. Here is someone who does not force their choices or ideals on others. OldSoul simply stated HIS beliefs and said make sure you understand the results of your own actions. I know all the "dangers" with red meat, fat, salt, etc. I choose to eat fast food and stuff that is not the best for me. If I die of a heart attack at 50 then so be it. Archy take a page from OldSoul here and knock off the "crusade" to save us all and realize that you will never change the world. Look after yourself and your loved ones and for god sake man lay off the weed, it makes you paranoid dude.
First rduoche I commend Oldsouls viewpoint. It's more ethical and less destructive and I wished more people thought this way instead of the mindless consumerist gluttony that infects western culture. Secondly I'm not forcing my viewpoint on anyone. Like everyone else on here I'm entitled to my opinion. Take it or leave it. i haven't used derogatory statements and insults towards anyone here who eats meat. It's people like you who are prejudice towards vegans and you view my opinion as an attack on your morals and ethics.
And another thing. By me just listing facts about the environmental impacts of our current meat, dairy, and fish industries is in no way attacking meat eaters. It's just the truth of our current global situation. But you instead of processing these truths you attack the messenger.
Haha good one. I'll tell you one thing though if the current system ever broke down and the supermarket shelves and home pantries were emptied I pretty much guarantee you will see can cannibalism on some scale.
