sometimes i paddle out the cbc sushi and right before i get out past everyone i push it out like 8 inches and kinda turn it to the side. this makes me look retarded when i paddle past everyone. i'll float on it sideways about 15 yards farther out than anyone. they won't even suspect me. when a set comes i'll wait till the last second and go which ever way i want because no one even thinks i will go or even try to battle paddle me. they are always surprised when i'm up and riding, calling them off. don't sticker over the ron jon label. use it to your advantage
There are deals out there if you know where to look. Two recent purchases. 1968 Con CC Rider in very good condition (with pristine 13" yellow lexan fin worth more than I paid for the board) for $135.00 Just picked up this 9'6 Vintage Rible longboard with triple balsa stringers from 1967 for $80 last week. Don't have any good pictures of it. Will clean it up this weekend if we get some decent weather. Its a very good shape and only needs a couple minor repairs.
