If you don't like a certain stereotype, cease to perpetuate it. Oh, and it's probably not a good idea to attack an armed police officer.
Nope, I treat people like they treat me, I don't hate anyone! Well, except the old white lady in front of me driving 50 in a 55mph zone. Bwahahaha
Only thing that would have made the CNN coverage better last night was if the Prosecutor had come out and said sorry we are not going to indict, but hey we got free KFC for a year to all of Ferguson!
I'm sorry to say that this looting thing is not as great as I first thought. I mean last night we went to take our McNuggets and ended up burning down the McDonalds. Now tonight I won't be able to get my Mickey D's or a 40oz either, because we burned down the liquor store too. We are running out of things to loot, so I might just stay home tonight and watch it on CNN.
I had me eyes on those tabasco flavored slim jims at the Valero .But I like those guys, plus they would probally reconize me anyway.
Sh!t now that you say it...any of you guys try dems salt and vinegar almonds??? Better than the chips, no joke. Git some.
Who made the decision to announce the verdict at night? Sorry, but the county prosecutor is moron and is surrounded by morons. They should've waited until this morning out of respect to the business owners at the very least. They REALLY don't like those black folks in Ferguson, do they?
good. stick w/us. why? we want and value your contributions. even if it sounds like we don't. and - dood - there are as many 'mother theresa' types on here as KKK.....
I know its a little late to chime in. Ive been outta town. Not gonna lie... when Rodney King verdict came in, I was 13. Kurt Loder gave me the news on MTV. I went out of my suburban house and threw a rock at a car in protest. I get it. I think peaceful protesting is stupid. When in history has peaceful protesting actually done anything? Don't say MLK because... because Dasani is worth 11 billion and water fountains are dated. Pick up a brick and prove your point. I tend to side with "the people" usually. As a (former) business owner, if my windows got smashed in in downtown Ferguson I wouldn't blame the rioters. I would blame the cops who shot the kids who got off. The details are minute. Big picture: your great grandparents were slaves just over there in that farm, and now whitey shot your son. Thats a tough emotional pill to swallow regardless of the details. The effing kid just robbed a store with his buds then threw the shop owner to the ground ?!?! . Nice parenting .. After the court decision dad says let's burn this mother fuker down . Nice role model. Kid was going nowhere anyway and prob sponge off the system and end up in jail for life anyway so what's the uproar about ?
As a business owner, how do you feel about the "innocent" kid that went in to a business, robbed it and assaulted the business owner that tried to stop him? And I don' think the cop should have killed him.
The grand jury should have sent the case to trial and let a jury decide if the cop was guilty or not. The justice system failed. The prosecutor set it up to fail because he didn't want the cop to go to trial. let the jury decide if he was innocent or not. And, FYI- grand juries don't make decisions on innocence, they decide if the case should go to trial. In most instances, if the evidence is conflicting, like the Ferguson case, a grand jury sends the case to trial. The prosecutor and law enforcement officials mishandled this case from day one and got away with it. That's the injustice. It doesn't matter whether any of us think Brown deserved it or not. Our system is set up so a jury can decide whether the shooter (Wilson) was guilty or not. But the process was thwarted by the corrupt authorities in MO.
