I got a convection "oven a couple years ago that works well on a turkey. Looks like a crock pot.

For those unable to hit the surf today or not into TV spectator sports, there's
Twilight Zone marathon on SYFY and
3 Stooges marathon on AMC (chicks don't get it).

    Regardless, Happy Thanksgiving SI gang!
Thanks for keeping the stoke alive.

    Update:
Sorry, those "marathons" were only for this morning. I thought they used to run them for most of T-day. Maybe the ladies put an end to it - at least for the Stooges.

Taking the folks up to my brother's this afternoon for T-day. Wife told me to clean up my smelly car - all grody from sand, saltwater, and sweat.

Happy Thanksgiving. Surfed the pipe this morning (the VB one, not Oahu's) and it was pretty good. Hanging up the 3/2 after today though. F'ing cold out there this morning. Water's still around 55, but air was freezing. Went in and put gloves on after 20 minutes. Can't remember the last time I wore gloves before December.

this morning was fun! Feel bad for the poor guy that broke his board in half around 8ish in spring lake. My stupid oneil mutant front zipper got stuck and then I popped it right off as I tried getting out of my suite. I'll take that over a broken board.

Happy Thanksgiving and best wishes to you and your son, NJ.
My folks and in-laws are in their mid 80s, so for awhile now my brother's family or mine have been hosting the meal. I recall in the old days how we used to eat so much - and that was before getting to the dessert(s). Like a python that swallowed a wild pig, we had to rest up, usually in front of a TV football game, to let things settle a bit.
Then bring on the pies! Apple, cherry, berry, pecan, rhubarb, pumpkin...or was it sweet potato? At times I had a hard time telling which was which. Who's got the whipped cream?

    Thanks for...

Mom, who put up with all my stuff when I was a kid, and lives only 4 blocks away so I can take care of her.

Surfing, which even though it's totally changed after my 30 year absence, is still wonderful.

Seldom Seen, whose kind presence keeps this place from erupting into a bonfire.

Yankee, who even though can flame the hate like no other, I suspect is the smartest and coolest guy one could ever meet irl.

EMass, who even though he has more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, and STILL didn't get me credit for Beavis and Butthead - "We're like closed or something", helps me keep the stoke and the joy.

Metard, and his mad Photoshop skills. Also for slowly giving us peeks into his interesting real life, lebesian surfers...

Mr Belmar (walkingonh20), just because it's Belmar!

DawnPatrolSUP, cause he surfs near my pops in Fla.

Nat Kitchen, cause even though he's a Cowboys fan, knows how long we have to wait for waves here sometimes.

Texas wimmens. God Bless Texas wimmens.

Mr Swellinfo Guy for providing our place to be silly, for FREE.

My crazy neighbor girl, who only has one warrant on her today, and calls me Paulie.

And for too many others to mention...

    Happy Thanksgiving y'all.

    Paulie in Galveston.

    Happy Thanksgiving

    Happy thanksgiving guys.

Went for a DP session, it was pretty damn good. I'm shot now. Going to spend the day with some beers and the bong, write a paper, eat, pass out, then get some little waist high leftovers tomorrow. Hopefully

This year I'm doing thanksgiving with my family so we're ding all the usual stuff. Last year though it was just me and my lady. Stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes, lobster mac and chz, sweet potato catfish. That was a good thanksgiving.

Today was the best surf Ive ever had at the point up here... and I'm thankful for that

came home to some mimosas and breakfast, off to an island to guzzle beer and turkey.

    I hope everyone scores today.

ibc!!! Bro you made Mike Judge proud with that call the other day! I didn't miss it. Props.

A couple Brazilian cats that I surfed with down in Rhodey during Cristobal came up today to the home break and we got stoked. Local buds were out too so even better. Paddled out at 9 and states in til 1130. Buoy was double digits in both swell and period and the break had ideal swell direction, wind direction and tide yet wasn't performing anywhere close to an epic day. Still was dope and had fun! Current was so gnar but that made for good paddle workout.

Life is good buoyz. Again, hope everyone is scoring in the water and with good family time. On the way to dinner with fam now. Sore!

Life is good-- surfing with my crew this morning and now cooking an excellent shrimp feast (who needs turkey?)

Happy thanksgiving to all of you. We are so thankful we are well enough to surf :)
