No swell for me today but plenty of grub. Went down to the S end of Oak Island with the wife and Lil one and watched the sun sink into the sea. Weekend plans are surf at some point and go SUP the back waterways with the wife over to Sheep Island and have a picnic, take the lil one to the Hunger Games, and meet with shaper.

I'm thankful for every bit of my life, family, friends, and that I can still drag my beat up old bones out to surf.

    Happy Thanksgiving swellers!

Saw this very cool North Face commercial while watching the Texas A&M-LSU game this evening. Always loved the song This Land Is Your Land by Woody Guthrie. Play it on my banjo. Despite the problems, we have a lot in this country to be thankful for.

Smashed some turkey legs. Decent session in the water. Awesome day.

Good day for everyone on the right coast.

...you can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant!"

A true Thanksgiving classic, if you're an older guy like myself. Twenty seven 8 by 10 color glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one...
