Wind advisory tomorrow?

    What's up with the weather reports talking about 50 mph gusts? How can the waves be clean with such high winds? Is it going to be a good surf day in del-oc?

    straight offshore = clean
    Straight offshore @ 20-30 = clean but tough to paddle in this morning and spray in yr face

    I wouldn't exactly say "epic"...Its been a long time since there has been "epic" surf in OC.

    my guess is hes saying these raging offshores can generate epic surf in Madiera or Morocco or some other place that this thread doesnt relate to.;)
