anyone have surfline? see the 17 day? looks like 6-8 days in a row with building SE swell, this could be a long time wavemaker? I look at the 17 day forecast (for HI and NJ) a lot and I have never seen this happen before, could be a looong run of swell this december

I dont have the primary weather data, but the surfline interpretation of their inputs delights me

6/8 days of building se swell would render more of the delaware river oceanfront.
buy now before prices go up.

how far out are you looking? its pretty dubious and almost guessing at day 17... at day 10 i see a giant High pressure system spinning in the atlantic, not a low? http://www.weatherstreet.com/states/gfsx-850-forecast.htm

    just saw this:

A COLD START FOR THE EASTERN PORTION OF THE COUNTRY IS EXPECTED TO BE FOLLOWED BY A RAPID WARM UP, AND AN INCREASE IN CHANCES OF WET CONDITIONS AS SOUTHERLY RETURN FLOW BRINGS MOISTURE FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO. SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL CALIFORNIA IS EXPECTED TO SEE WET CONDITIONS AT THE START OF THE PERIOD, UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A SHARP UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH. THE GFS SOLUTIONS TEND TO BE QUICKER TO MOVE THIS TROUGH EASTWARD THAN THE ECMWF, WHICH WILL MAKE CONDITIONS LATER IN THE 6-10 DAY PERIOD AND INTO WEEK-TWO UNCERTAIN.

Im looking at 7-8 days out with the event seeming to last 4-6 days
I was assuming low as there will be offshore winds some days (being drawn to low?)

I am kinda stoked, but we will see.....

Bumping this. First time I've ever seen someone on the east coast call a swell this far out.

Hey pissant, I was referring to you being on here since 2010 and people all the time here being overzealous about swells way far out. This isn't anything about me or how long I have or have not surfed or what piers I have or have not shott. We are taking about the forum and the Nostradamuses of the EC.

It wasn't an insult to you either so go back to drinking your cranberry juice you sensitive menstruating man. Not everything is about you, or me, or our surfing. Was seeing if we were reading the same forum since the depraved EC Swellers ALWAYS get overexcited about swells. Don't you see Doug's litany of hilarious cracks on this topic?

Bro, do you even read SI?

    Bro, yourself.

We can go back to this being reasonable if you like. Back about ten minutes before you took anything excessively personal.

No they usually aren't. However, with no hope there is no stoke. A stokeless existence is one where you're already dead.
