Wind shifted mid morning in RI on Saturday and what was a mess turned into nice sectiony beach break for the east facing breaks. I drove down real early from Providence, saw it was nothing and turned around. Just got home when the 411 text arrived, turned around and got there in time for 90 minutes of fun. Too bad I have to work all week -- except maybe Friday morning leftovers. Being honest with myself (see newer tread) I doh't think I would go out at the lighthouse if it gets as big as they say it might.

ya, I changed my location to be a little more or less revealing about where I go. although nothing is permanent, I flow like the tides. surf the earth brah. sweep the scumbags, you know? you'll like my newest board- it has a custom seat because standing up is just way to hard.

tomorrow afternoon is going to be insane. I can take one day this week and I'm debating on taking tomorrow and risking it, or taking weds and surfing all day. I'm leaning towards weds since my only board that can handle tomorrow is buckled... not trying to take out a little 5'8 on what's forecasted for tomorrow

your floating in the **** of the rich.. and noones rocking a 4/3 up here right now

"At present, Kennebunkport does not provide year-round treatment of their wastewater effluent (they currently treat from May-September), which ultimately discharges to Gooch's Beach, a popular winter spot."

    Gonna be chilly hahaha

I just got back, holy eff hell you gotta love 6 degree windchill, 18 degree air, and sub 48 water. Hurts to breathe lol. Ooooo it's getting chilly. You boys complaining about cold down mid atlantic...don't get me started.

Happy Hampton had some nice frosty peaks rolling through. It was marginally clean, and there was only 1 other kook out with me. After the first 3-4 duck dives, the ice cream headache subsided and it felt downright tropical. But air temp was only 23deg, so walking back to the car and trying to use my hands was no fun.

Amen to that. Dude, just use the CR dressing room. It's been my salvation.

Was a bit chilly though lol. Boots were leaking, that wasn't fun, and is going to cost me more macaroons. Whatever I wanted a new pair.

I was thinking of just buying a surf sauna. It's only $18,000, and can double as my portable changing room and gigalo party venue.

Pocket change. Let's split it. Permanent surf buddy and financial partner. We will become best of friends, and open some dive beach bar after we dump our 401ks, and surf all day err day in some sunny place with reliable swell. This is of course after we're both going into our second divorces and are in midlife crisis stage (and we're dodging alimony)

And it will be because of SI.

    Thank you SI!!!
