They're all I ride. Well I only own two boards, but they're both mid lengths, although my 8'3" is for all (my) intents and purposes a long board. Other board is a 6'8" pin tail/round nose single fin. I love them.

They're like the minivans or surfboards... You don't want to be seen with one, but you enjoy the ride.

Your toolbaggery is to distracting. It's hard to have a conversation with a guy that labels himself a public figure on his fb profile, then creates a completely different username on a forum to promote his persona.

    Your f0cking loser bro.

we have nothing in common. Not even surfing, so I have no desire to talk about your board.

    +1 analogy nailed.

can someone explain this guys vision???

are you nearsighted? farsighted? or just totally fu(ked?
cause he's wearin 'em while reading, wearin 'em while walking around, and yet he doesn't need 'em when he's surfing??? I'm calling bull$hit here. what is he putting in contacts before he paddles out, comes in, takes 'em out to put those sweet specs on?

    they look so kewwwwwwl dough.

just another retro fad, like fishes and Bonzers. They're cool though. I like to try all kinds of shapes, it opens the mind and opens the surfing. But when it becomes all life-styley, it becomes nothing more than a fad for appearance's sake. That's not surfing, that's fashion...and that sucks.

I love the idea of mid lengths. I enjoy riding then to an extent. But there awkward for me. If I want a more maneuverable board I'll shortboard, if I want a more styley flowy style I'll longboard. Mid lengths just feel odd to me. Not long enough or short enough. Kinda stuck in the middle. If that makes sense at all

They're common here. They're good boards for the EC (generally speaking). Of course, you may have to be able to put up with the stink eye from shreddah on the 5'8" tater chip on a stomach high day that can't actually surf, but as we all know, the shorter the board, the better the surfer.

edit: But yea, **** all the hipster lifestyle stuff that seems to accompany the mid length single fin thing. I really like the surfing in those videos (all 30 seconds of it), but the lifestyle stuff is lame.

Hello. I've had this mid length a couple years now. I don't take it out often, but it's always there.
