Got a break from the winter gnar with mellow conditions over the last few days. Brought in 2015 with a session of some clean waist to chest high sets...small but super fun. Lots of folks out too, but not too crowded...could've sworn it was spring. Damn, that was the best start to any year of my life. Anyone else bring in the New Year with some stoke?! i've had a cold since the 3rd of the month, haven't surfed since the 27th of last month, & it's ****ing snowing. right now, i say to hell w/ 2015.
i started it off sunday with an ass beating in spring lake. Isnt Oregon always at least head high somewhere?
I surfed the 1st four days of 2015, I'd say that's a good start, had some waist high days but also got some chest - head+ surf in there too
New Years eve - firing head high north swell before dark New Years Day - almost glassy waist to chest with plus sets (post hangover cure-all) Jan 2, 3, and 4 - choppy waist to shoulder plus wind chop Shoulder is sore, feet are sore, life is good!
