    I was going through my hard drive and found these old pics of me at my old favorite surf spot..<br />A few years ago, beach replenishment pretty much ruined it.. I was wondering if anyone's been surfing there this winter... is she getting healthy again?? She was a beauty for a few years there back somewhere around 2001-2009...<br /><br />the pics are from around 2005 i think... not a great day except that it was winter and I was the only one out.. <br /><br />If you don't recognize the spot here's two hints: a fat leprechaun used to hang out there. and \"No boumping!\"

    ps. share some pics of this spot in it's glory days if you got em!

    the health of that beach blows compared to what it was.
    sigh.

    For a few years this was my (and many others') go-to spot for a nor'easter. Some of my best surf moments happened out front of that pier..

    i bet we know each other.
    nope no photos. paddled out 45 mins before sunrise; got out bout noon.
    4/6 ft SOLID with tropical energy; all lefts and so many rides.
    ocnj that afternoon was 6ft plus and best ever and empty cause all surfers surfed out by 2
    or 4 in the afternoon...

    dude, one time I went to light a joint under that pier and totally walked up on a mexican dude trying to bang his old lady.. that was YOU?!?

    I love this spot when it is on. I usually surf the rocks just north of this. The best day I surfed this was in the dead of the cold winter with ice hanging from the pier. Solid chest+.

    nice. I wish I had more photos/vids of her in her prime.

    Remember this guy? Glad I got at least one pic with him... and there's me young and free before wife/kids/job etc.... (I could never surf that board very well though)

    MEMORIESSSSSSSSSSS.
    Hands down, best wave in that town. I used to surf that spot religiously. I forget what time of the year... and the year (08 or 09), but i was taking waves from the other side of that pier about 50 yards out from the jetty and ending up 200 yds down the beach. such a GREAT DAY OF SURFING!!!!

    Frequented it often from about 09-2012 when I was at Stockton college and lived in Vent/Brig.

    Where did the past 3 years go?

    one time i was walking the beach w/mcclay and we walked under the pier only to encounter two
    quite intoxicated persons doing it. we stopped and watched for a few mins; they never even saw us.
