Solid surf forecasted for this coming weekend Florida

Won't get to excited until Friday. ..hope it holds true. ..crossing my fingers.

 

The last forecast was wrong. It called for clean a week out, then semi clean a day before and the day it was supposed to be the best all I saw was choppy windswell with winds out of the northeast at around 20mph when the forecast was for northwest at 8mph.

I think next weekend I'll just show up and hope for the best, and take my windsurf gear in case it ends up being super windy again.

The usual, spot checkin my go-to's,starting with the same spot we almost met up at last time, hit me up if you make the trip, I go 1st light and then again in afternoon if it's not blown out

Santa Cruz has had solid swell for a few weeks building into this week

Getting ants in your pants for potentially no reason is a waist of energy, and life. The ocean does what it wants without considering for a millisecond what the SI forecast says it's "supposed" to do. Good luck on getting some, you'll know if it's good when you get there. Until then, watch the forecast loosely without getting so wrapped up in what's "supposed" to happen.

yeah the forecast has already been pulled down to thigh to waist in most spots. Figures cause I have a three day weekend and getting out of town to surf warmer water could've been fun....Instead gonna head up to Asheville/aka beer city USA to enjoy all the flavors...which will prbably be more fun anyhow!
