Sun's out now, probably a good time to look for them on the beach

 

there have been reported sightings of seals at the Chesp. Bay Bridge Tunnel. we were on it on Sunday but saw nothing but our breath. We stopped at the restaurant. They used to have a flounder sammich that filled the whole plate. but not anymore.

Agreed, saw one of those or something similar hanging out in the tree outside my office couple weeks ago. I'm not much of a bird guy so don't know what they are half the time, but I know we have lots of Osprey and Hawks around here, a few falcons, the occasional Eagle but very rare, and some owls.

 

This is an old low-res pic, taken when I lived in Boston. My neighbor used to feed the pigeons in the morning, and this was the result:

 

Got two hawks hanging around the house. Pretty sure they live in the woods behind us, can hear them screeching back there sometimes. Wife took a pic yesterday, both were in the neighbor's yard. She wouldn't let the cat out, and I can't blame her. Dogs were going crazy, wanted to eat them.

 

Its not just the hawks that will poach a critter.

 

Eagle > Osprey in the food chain
