I know April in Jerz is usually awesome but the family is looking to head to warm water for April.
We have some options in the Cocoa Beach to Melbourne area.

Can any locals give me some insight into the surf frequency/general conditions for Mid-April.

    Much Appreciated.

There's almost always something to ride there.

^^^ There is a rideable wave over 300 days per year but in April you could score a nice sized swell if you're lucky. Obviously never a guarantee but it's a lot better than coming down here in June. Bring a spring suit with you or a 3/2 just in case, there can be cold fronts still in April. PM me if you need any specifics.

It is warmer than up north and warmer than north of the Cape. That is already in your favor of going and enjoying yourself. And some good burritos.
