The OP raised awareness by starting this thread, everyone has seen it by now, mission accomplished. If they chose to care and do research and make their own decision that's cool, its what they should do. Whether its a legit concern of ours as surfers will be found in that research. If they want others to show them the facts and do the research for them then they are sheep and are vulnerable to being fed all sorts of "facts". Its comparable to the problem we have with our news sources. But I don't even want to get into that.

What I do want is to restore a little order and respect to the SI forum. So much good info could be passed back and forth on any number of subjects, laughs and little insults included. A lot of those are funny and keep posters grounded.

But liars and instigators who have nothing to add but weak attempts at making themselves look cool need to get called out, reformed or bounced. rCarter is not the only one, but he crossed the line with the kid comment and now he's just embarrassing himself, which is what frauds do.

Respect to all the users who contribute through experience, intelligence and real humor; LBCrew, Seldom, Liam, ZaGaff, Brad, Zack, MattJohnson if he's still alive, Milton or Mitchell with the sweet Delmarva pics, MattyB, bubonic and the endless beer review thread which has been enlightening, actually thanks to everyone who has posted in that thread you're awesome! I agree utah. I'm also just stirring the put a little in a good fun. I was hoping to see the crazy Seldom come out which is always the exact opposite of his usual demeanor. I do have to say that SJB is one person I don't argue with. You can't win that argument. Everyone else, I like to sometimes keep on their toes.
