I don't hear enough about them. What are your thoughts and what do you know? I will start off with a fact... 311 is thought to mean KKK by a lot of people. It is actaully the indescent exposure code for the police in Omaha, Nebraska. This is where they are from. Did you know that? Do you ever crank 311 on the way to the beach? What do you prefer...everything up through From Chaos? Do you follow them?
311 is horrible horrible music dude...I remember back in the day you could always tell who the skidmarks were at the skatepark....they had 311 stickers on their boards....
They did not come to VB this year. Did any other towns notice them not showing up? Favorite song(s)? I have always been a fan of Down South. It is so right in more ways than one. Firewater is dope. There is actaully an old school skate vid to it on Youtube. You probably won't find it unless you use a desktop PC.

I thought they were a good band back when they first got popular in the early 90s. They've gotten a little too pop-y for my tastes over the years though. I'd say they started going downhill when the album with that song "Amber" was released.
I'm down with 311 - always have been, always will. They're just chill music. When Soundsystem comes on my speakers it just gets me in a great mood.
they are good live. good musicians. not my favorite band at all, but they ai'ight. better quality music than what's cranked-out by the multitude of hipster snoozer bands these days.
