That swell system that's gonna creep down into the southeast around thurs-fri look weird. Like after it passes wilmington to the south it kinda stalls and builds right off SC. Is it possible for it to come back up and give NC some swell (thursday/friday's swell is looking really choppy) I'm talking about the blotch in the wave heights, not periods.
i understanding what you are asking about... and in a simple answer, yes. Looks like high pressure is expected to push over the northeast producing a bit of NE flow to the southeast region during the middle of next week. The model suggest perhaps some low pressure development off the coast, creating a strong pressure gradient here. These kind of systems always offer potential, but in general reliability is very low for 180 hours out... So, just have to keep an eye on how the models adapt to the changes over the next few days.
