Had a 5'7" board works version...solid design in my opinion. Really versatile...surfed from knee high to overhead. Got pretty squirrely when it was top to bottom...but the board did it all. Even with such a wide round tail snaps were no problem...it's actually quite surprising as I thought it would be a bit more fishy...Make sure you purchase the stilettos and the Knubster. Tried with and without...board felt more less washy with knub. Surf it off your back foot...and go for it. Board flies...and is a quiver killer...only reason I sold mine is that it overlaped way to much with other boards I own.
6'4"x21.5"x2.5". Looks like it's never been wet. $200. Never buy a new board. For every person who starts surfing there is one who is giving it up. Just gotta find that guy
Gonne be fun on those mushy days! Giving up or injury.... Scored a (MINT condition) 6'2" Lost F1, FCS K2.1 fins, FCS leash, stomp pad and 5mm Rip Curl Flash Bomb booties for $230.00. Dude was in an accident and would prob never surf again.
All that gear has bad jojo dude. You'll never get tubed again. Better hire a priest to exercise that jojo the F out! Get to church.
HEY, shut up Salt, don't jinx me! LOL Actually, the 3rd wave I pulled into I got a little cover up, the board slid in like butter. The way I look at it, I am keeping his stoke going
might be purchasing one of these for a fair deal. it's EPS and 6'2, 21.5, 2.75 but not sure if it fits... weighing in at 235. It was listed a little bigger (6'4 and 21.75) when I reached out, and now corrected. any advice/recos on this board and how it goes?
Get the stiletto fins and knubster...sold mine and bought it back after a month...I stand by my previous review. Its a great all-arounder...That size should suit you at that weight...
You should be fine with that size. My floats me and paddles like a dream. It could be a bit smaller and still work. Go for it.
true...but op is in Panama City (gulf), so all that buoyancy may be a plus. The wax on it reminds me of what I don't like about these glossy epoxies...wax doesn't stick worth a damn, especially in hot climates. Something that might help are always first use basecoat wax (might want to keep it in the fridge because even warm basecoat won't adhere to gloss epoxy). If that fails, you might want to sand the gloss layer up so wax will stick and stay.
Your math is off. I will agree to: "for every 10 persons starting surfing, one gives it up." Your 1:1 ratio does not explain the ever growing crowds.
