First two rounds are usually boring, weeding out all the "pipe specialists". it's tough to be impressed when we're used to seeing the best ride that wave. I hope the later rounds get some sick matchups
I got to witness the lcq or something with all the vets, last chance qualifying with bruce,jd,derek ho,gavin, and a few Hawaiians.they killed it,i think makua broke his arm or something seen him take a heavy fall.so much better than the pipemasters which is sad to say because im not a fan of the volcom brand but they do know when to run a contest
From surfline, hope it's on today Forecast Outlook: SATURDAY: New NW swell tops out. Consistent well overhead surf will show across the North Shore all day, with standout spots producing double to triple overhead sets. Select reefs will see occasional waves up to 18-20 feet or so on the face. WIND/WEATHER: Light East wind early, veering ENE to NE into the afternoon and becoming moderate. Partly cloudy skies.
It's on. Some fun waves coming through, but good barrels have been tough to find. Balaram just had a good heat. Reppin NY!
