Put it this way, my board is almost 2 years old with regular usage and been to PR and back couple times with not a ding, scratch, crack, no pressure dents, nothing. And it's fast as sh*t, light as a feather. It works from thigh high to bout DOH, but I need something more suited for those bigger better days.
i said my board went very well. YOU started carping about technology. i hope you surf well....cause the WORST KIND OF SURFING PHONY is Mr. "I shape therefore i know all about the sport".
Yea... it says there you can get superfused or block cut. The superfused stuff is molded. The billet stuff is not. Granted, their billet foam is probably very high quality, but it's not really "superfused" like the molded stuff is... you just can't get those pressures into the blocks. I like US Blanks foam... all of it. But I'll tell you now I've had US Blanks billet foam that was junk, too. Like... put a hole in the rail of a finish-shaped blank with the compressor blowing the dust off.
you're right. surfing is not a sport. its a BUSINESS where zeros can sand blanks then glop fiberglass on them and call themselves a guru so they can feel great bad-mouthing companies that actually produce product.
im not the best with naming boards or dims or whatever.the only pros with boards I can remember are all channel islands because all my favorite surfers ride em from tom curren, slater, bobby Martinez.and I know ...lost boards I know because I seen all the old lost vids.any other brands I don't really know unless I see someone in a contest using them.regardless bruce irons is my favorite surfer of all time and I honestly don't know what kind of boards he rides.bruce won the wildcard into the event at the volcom pro so phuck slater, jjf, and job.bruce all the way
In my earlier post I may have come across wrong. My Navy buddy was good enough to "shoot with a pretzel." I'm certainly not that good, especially at my advanced age. I'm just good enough to have me some fun. I'm not against progress and the wonderful advances hi tech has given to us surfin folks. Hey, if ya can wangle 5 or 6 boards, rock on. I'm rootin fer ya. Us little guys that can only afford a board or two, and those at deep discounts, kinda hope that we'll be good enough to have fun with our limited flotilla of low tech boards.
I am, like, sooo in AWE. All my life I wanted to meet a real surfer. If real surfers don't buy Asian popouts, how's about Asian Hos? Are they off limits too? There's a really convincing looking Pilipina Ho starin me down big time over there -> -> -> Can I still buy Poke Fried Rice? Poke Fried Rice makes me do my happy dance. Party pooper.
