How do you feel about all the drinks coming out advertised to "do" something? Neuro Bliss, the Bob Marley drink, and the others along those lines.

    There's a Bob Marley drink?

This is what people have come to, and it's sad. Take a pill/drink to lose weight, get stronger, make you bigger in the pants...It's crazy. Just work out and be happy with your ***** size. People expect things to just be handed to them, those are the people who buy that crap.

Don't you remember the big media announcement when they discovered all the new brain-enhancing compounds that go into these drinks?

    Me neither.

It's called Marley's Mellow Mood. It used to actually contain a decent amount of Melatonin in it, which is something that is naturally produced in the body. Sunlight and artificial light actually prevents the production of melatonin. When it gets dark out the melatonin production increases, which is why you start to get sleepier at night.

It looks like since I first tried it in 2012 they removed the Melatonin. Now it's just an herbal mix of valerian root and chamomile extract. I personally received a nasty headache after having the drink with the melatonin in it and haven't had it since. But the herbal mix has been shown to increase relaxation by basically causing drowsiness. They're a lot of the same herbs that you find in those nighttime teas.

Bro, is that a long way of asking "how do you feel about marketing"???

BassMon! Off-topic but have I been on too much of a hiatus the last two months or did you get locked out/banned/jerz retired for your BassMon1 moniker? I'd have voted to retire it bro!!!

Micah, you are one eccentric cat hiding out in your spongepredictin'bunker most all the time but please, post more humor like this. Genius.

watching television or computer after dark also inhibits melatonin production.

Hahahahaha when SI updated it made me have to remember my login info. Could not remember for the life of me. Was going to start a hello thread out of tradition but figured since I'm not really new it wasn't necessary. I did however make a hello post, so that sorta counts.

Bro I nearly had the same mishap. But I was able to access the email I registered here with for a password change. Did NOT want to start over with a new handle as no one would believe it's me lol. And I've never once used an alias here. Glad we still got you bro.
