I'm not disagreeing, but how do you make an app that creates an account, digs up an old thread like this, and make a relevant reply like that?

What's the benifit, and who does it benifit, or what's the point?

Does someone pick reply to a thread on SI, on an app in their phone, or does the app pick for itself?

Does the app have feelings, and can you mate with it?

I know that's a lot of questions, but I need all the answers before my brain completely squirrels out.
