There are surf vids of people setting goats on fire and doing inverted judo airs to Signs Of Hope tunes (not hating, just saying) and then there are vids like this. Pretty solid. My son will be three this April and he's moving from the body board to the surfboard. This has inspired me.

That's my favorite spot out there. So much fun... Got chased out by a BIG shark there not too long ago.

 

man... I gotta admit, that was pretty sick! Just watching made me want to paddle out... waves looked perfect and only a few friends out...

it might not be 23ft... but its giving Belmar a run for its money...

I finally got to see "the westsiders" which is a documentary on the santa cruz boys,flea virostko,barney,and ratboy.greatest surf movie I ever seen,u people have to find it and watch it.first off barney is the 1 and only person who successfully rode upside down in the barrel off the lip,its a quick move but impressive to say the least.ratboy was the jjf of his time with his air game,and boards were a lot heavier in the 90s.and flea,who I still claim is the greatest big wave charger of all time wow.he told his dad come down to mavericks and watch me win tomorrow a day before the contest.he won.then he told pete mel im gonna air drop this last wave in the final and win,which he did.his level of confidence is off the richter.and the footage is insane,from the barrels to airs to mavericks.they were doing all this before safety vests,they did have a ski or 2 but didn't really help,u get caught inside ur on ur own in those days.

think jjf x Kelly slater x andy irons x shane dorian.airs,barrels,big waves,u have no clue youngin and I didn't expect u to.theres a story to the downfall aswell like when he won his 2nd contest beating Kelly slater at mavs and his best friend died of an aneurysm the same day and a week later his other best friend died of cancer.when u get older you will see what lifes like,when someone u hang out with everyday just suddenly dies unexpectedly.its a heavy tale but u wouldn't get it
