definitely changed quite a bit. I think many have dumped old names and assumed new personalities... It seems like many left and many new came...all at the same time.

I heard Zach picked up a bad case of the ebola in Cali
Brew got zapped by a spark plug and it erased his mind so he joined a conspiracy cult and wears a tinfoil hat.
Emass got his first woody and his hands are too busy to type.
If there is no response from said parties mentioned above you can assume this is all true.

Then again they might have found a better use of their time.

SI is a living thing... constantly changing and evolving. A good thing, if you ask me.

Then there are those of us who are just barnacles... ancient life forms that attach ourselves to the foundation of the environment, and can survive even a nuclear holocaust. We stopped evolving a long, long time ago, while life around us has moved on.

I got promoted to senior engineer in December, around the time my wife had knee surgery. My work load doubled, as did my home responsibilities. I haven't had much time to play on the internet, outside browsing facebook from my phone. Every time there has been decent swell here, I can't go out. I used to work early and get off early, but now I am not even getting home until almost 4:30-5pm. Hopefully thing get more relaxed once my wife goes back to work and my projects relax a bit. The good news is that the promotion came with an 18% raise, and my boss (whom I did not care for) has been kicked out by management.

Thanks man. This isn't the worst, nor the most stressful time of my life. I am pretty happy about the changes (minus the surgery thing), but I could use a little less work load. That said, there are many people out there working much more than I am.

Indeed. Perspective can foster appreciation and "coping strength" for ones lot in life. Peace.
