Yeah brah. I have an American Strat, Mexican modded Tele, and an Epi modded Les Paul.

 

I love me some Fenders. I've had a 70s american tele guitar for 30 yrs.that is my go to. Also got a mex. thin line tele that plays really well. I play a modded mex. PJ bass through a GK 800 rb with a 4-10 cabinet also got a 5 string ernie ball and a fretless carvin bass.
My bands guitarist just got a mesa boogie 5:50 for cheap and damn it sounds good.
I've played a little bit of everything over the years form pop,punk,country alt. and bluesy stuff.One of these days I'm gonna figure out how to post some tunes and let everybody hate on 'em. lol

 

Very nice. I probably have that same tele. I swapped the single coil for a SD Lil' 59 mini humbucker, and now that baby is my favorite punk guitar.

 

That 5 string sounds sick, LazyE

 

I think the ernie balls are the best 5 string you can get under 3000.00 or so. I picked mine up new for about a grand 10 yrs ago.
Brew I was young and dumb when I got the tele. Anyway, I heard how Eddie Van Halen poured wax on his PUs to supposedly eliminate feedback so my dumba** melts some sex wax and pours it in the PU cavity not realizing it would flow into the control cavity as well. Took forever to clean that mess up but it smelt like a surfboard for years. lol. I've got a hot rail in the neck of the tele and that baby can scream!

Ha! Eddie effin' VanHalen! I remember getting out my father's cordless drill and revving it up over my pick-ups after butchering some finger hammering. My go to electric is a 1984 Ibanez Road Star II. Made in Japan.
I also still have my 1984 Van Hallen tour shirt.

haha. Some of the japanese made ibanez guitars are bringing some bucks these days. I had a cheap ibanez sound gear bass when I was young and it played/sounded good. If I could I'd have ten guitars in every room!
