Ah well then your boyfriend ain't no "real surfer" but it's cool youz can fit in round here wit some of the peoplez.. Sincerely Larry
Back when I got to go to CR, I'd go 2nd week after Easter for the deals. I'd go to the gym and swin laps but it wasn't the same. I had a real job then, so after work in the winter was out of the question. So every weekend, I'd go out. If it was flat, which was a lot, I'd paddle up current several blocks then back, acouple of times. Really helps with the rib cage and belly.
bikram choudhury - the beverly hills yogi and multi-millionaire - is facing 6 civil lawsuits accusing him of raping former students. no criminal charges; though. the guy owned a rolls royce and still it wasn't enough to get some action...
Oh yeah? So the rampant misogyny, objectification, and general horn-dogging have nothing to do with it? If I was female, I would definitely steer clear of forums with threads like "Worst piece of tail you've ever sacked." Lots of people instantly object to even the most remotely racist comments, but are totally silent during overtly sexist ones. I'm not objecting to the innocent grade-school matchmaking shenanigans found here. I'm just saying that the bro-ology and 'show us your pics' mentality should stop. As Sniffer is inferring, they can be treated like all other noobs. Would you prefer that your daughter be able to try surfing comfortably, or be put off by objectifying douches?
Your skills deserve material, that is for sure. I imagine you're very popular on r/photochopbattles. I agree. Once all current members have posted pics of themselves, we can demand the same of new members. Obvious props to courageous members like Caroline, Seldom, and yourself for having already done so. Unfortunately my 'hairstyle' at the moment resembels this somewhat. Probably a situation I should alleviate.
Hahaha I do kinda look like him huh? Slash man hope all is well! I'm still coming to that Island eventually.
Right back at you dude.... hope you get wet soon. I'm still reliving Sunday's swell in my head. Maybe this spring we'll do a camp/surf out East. I'm ready for some warm weather outdoors enjoyment! We could hit up Peajay/Bassmon and have a Swellinfo L.I.(Sound) meetup. By the way, I know it's highly unlikely, but if if you haven't read Call of the Wild or White Fang, by Jack London, you gotta get on that ASAP. Probably the two pieces of fiction most suited to you in the world! I downloaded a free E-book reader on my phone, called Aldiko and White Fang came with it. I've been reading it on my phone, almost forgot how raw and vivid his descriptions of wilderness are... Anyone who is bored at work should click those links and read those books. There's no waves to watch on the cams, so why not enjoy a great piece of literature ... that has a gnarly badass dog as a protagonist. /thread derail complete
Both good reads. I taught both books about twenty years ago when I was doing a part time middle school English Lit. gig. The books can be appreciated at all ages. Off the rails and smoldering...
I'm definitely down for a camp/surf fest out East. Love both of those books...it's been a while so I'm do for a re-read. Sounds weird but those books made me feel destined to have my dog. Actually just got a couple new books to read so when those are done I'm going back to Jack... ...and to bring things full circle Jack London surfed so we are back on rail
