2nd. At best that board belongs in the 1980s. No one who legitimately charges big waves is going to surf that. This is a real (mini) gun: http://www.lostsurfboards.net/surfboards/mini-gun/

Sorry but needed to be said...hopefully you get lucky on Craigslist

wtf why are there people willing to sell a board like this to beginners. What a DIKK move. Then again, it's up to each of us to educate oneself prior to a new endeavor. Glad you're doing that now frosty.

ride any and every board you can. it will help you out in the long run.

save up for a fish for most east coast surf.

A gun that early on will be a stokeless effort. I speak from experience. Got a semigun for a nickel a few months into surfing. Figured I wasn't going to lose money on any resale getting it that cheap. Was still a waste of time even trying to paddle. Not like I was going to find a suitable wave for it around here.

What can you expect on a site full of "good-for-nothing" surfers, and a couple of social psychopaths in need of a psychiatrist??

Now, back to that board...I like the idea of going to Puerto Escondido, surf your brains out, then give it to a poor kid. Excellent idea.

Bro. A nickel as in "real cheap". Just like a "minute" means a long time when I often use than in a sentence. C'mon now Jimmy, you think we'd really exchange a token 5 cents for a suite if a dude didn't want anything for his mini rhino chaser? Sorry to hear you picked one up. Again, anyone who sells a noob a board like that is a DIKK.

stokeless maybe but a good learning experience none the less

i got a 7-2 for costa rica once and tried to ride it in all kinds of surf..... it pretty much sucked. i learned that by riding it tho.

fwiw that board was way too big for central america too. i really only needed a slight step up which was a 6-8.

    lesson learned.

btw, it's nice to see you posting again emass
