Dreams about surfing and skating

I've had em a lot. They are fun.

 

I've had a few dreams where I'm riding nice waves in places there wouldn't be waves, like bays and harbors. Another I recall I was being held down by a wave and was about to drown when I woke up.....

 

its hard to remember dreams.lol I had a dream the other day I was heading to my surf trip,and im on the plane,and realize I have no ticket and no idea where I was going,so I screamed and made them slam on the brakes before takeoff.

also whatever u watch before u go to sleep has an impact on ur dreams,atleast for me.like if im watching some horror movie il have nightmares which I love,and if im watching surfing which I don't il dream about surfing.but I got my surf trip in my head going over and over so I usually dream about tgat

 

I've had very lucid dreams of dropping in on you and back handing you as you try to catch up .

 

I had a dream...

that surfers could use their brains and take turns.people taking off on every wave of the set.no drop ins.nobody sitting on the inside.just people doing it right.

now that can only be a dream.

if ur one of those people who want to scream like a little girl or fight when u get dropped in on,kindly take up another sport.surfing is not for you.try mma.surfing might still be progressing,but its like reverse engineering in the way to do it.i didn't drop in or get dropped in on btw,just saw a video of a surfer getting dropped in by a sponger and the surfer was still waving his arms and talking shyt 5 minutes after the wave passed.i never had these problems when I skated.like hey dood,u ollied that 6 stair before me,im going to break your board!!!arrrrrghhhh lol

 

I dreamt two nights ago i was skateboarding naked. I Ollied over some railroad tracks and grabbed on to the tailgate of one of the railroad trucks as i hit the other side of the crossing. Kinda weird but i didnt even realize i was naked until i landed the ollie.

 

I was on a near-decade surf hiatus and it was constant dreaming about surf that finally got my arse back in the water a few years ago. Weird because since I've been surfing regularly again I don't dream about it as much. But I think the weirdest, most recent one was about paddling out (wading, really) into this creek by my house. My logic (in the dream) was that it was high-tide and it was a big surge so the swell would make it up eventually.

mine are like this too. i find a dredging sandbar on the icw with an island and a (insert random building) on it.

 

Pretty funny this is a topic, I actually have had two dreams about surfing lately. First one I was surfing in this cove and the waves were the largest I have ever surfed in my life. But everything was flowing and make able, it was wild. The second, I was gonna go surfing and I could see the waves but things kept coming up and I couldn't make it out. Finally when I made it out, there were no waves.

 

I regularly have dreams that I'm skating and fall..jolt myself awake everytime

 

Dream Waves

Same thing...surfing the west side of barrier islands (Palm Beach usually) in the ICW and it is going off with a decent crowd, a few hidden coves sheltered behind mangrove thickets with glassy overhead barrels. I usually wade across the lagoon with board in hand, and find a bend in the backwater that is peeling and surging like a point break combined with a porabora (Amazonian river wave).

 

I also dream (when I am up and riding the wave, carving and throwing spray) that I can surf really really good, like Sunny or Gerry or Kelly or dare I say it...Tommy F'ing Curran. Then, as I emerge from the ocean after falling off my board, I wake up and paddle back out....oh well...

 

I dream that I am on a stupid surfing web site communicating with stupid surfers way too often, talking about way stupid things such as surfing dreams. Wish I would wake up!! I must therefore also be a stupid surfer!!!
