I am not a good fisherman, but I have happened upon some sizable fish (Tautog) in my Kayak, and I don't think I would have been able to manage them with a SUP without consequence.
Right around this time of year...I went over to my local one yesterday to check..usually in with the mens clothing or near some foam top or kookyak
What size Tog are we talking, and where? They're friggin delicious. I know a couple guys who fish Stripers off their stand-ups. I think you just need certain technics in place prior to dropping a line.
Man one of the best sandwiches I ever ate was a fresh caught tog, fried up at the restaurant next to da docks, and delivered to us as soon as we finished unloading the boat. They're a lot easier to catch in lobster pots
I disagree. They have more flavor than Black Sea Bass, or Flounder, for sure. All three are yummy in my tummy, and don't need much sprucing up imo.
I got a badass burton travel bag in one of those stores, with a special boot compartment and everything. It's all the rage on ski trips. Picket it up in the middle of the summer, in a TJ maxx at least 4 hours from the nearest ski resort, for about 80% off the sticker price. I think I was actually in there looking for a belt or something. Those places always have something cool, it's just never what you came in looking for.
