I guess im one of the few that's tired of wetsuit and fin threads.im sure most of us on here already know how to surf,we aren't starting threads on "how to do a cutbach" or how to get "barreled".reefer will always be a part of surfing,and when they legalize it in the other 46 states,im sure some pros will come out of the spotlight.

and saying pot affects your performance.tell that to clay marzo.tell it to wardo,to andy,to every good surfer in the 80s and 90s.dane Reynolds is a stone cold pothead aand semi-alcoholic but u would never tell until he gives a speech.

im not a phan of koke btw.its a little out of my budget.i have done it before and I can say its great,thats why u don't do it.because u will like it,get addicted,and start suching feet like mr sagget

I have seen a lot of talented guys in their prime , great surfers, guys that could get sponsors in their sleep, go down the tubes. Dead, jail, convulsions, you can't surf for long on that ****. I've done too may paddle outs for lost brothers to glorify the blow. Word to the wise to those young groms out there. The rest of ya'll already know.

 

i honestly don't care about you or other adults using drugs. you're a big boy, right? you're making all the right decisions in life. as far as i'm concerned, statistics prove that i will wind-up better-off in life avoiding drugs as an adult, long term. that's the reality. i've been there, done that, as a dumb kid. i can't afford to get tore-up no more. responsibilities, work, houses, kids, cars, etc, they trump getting wasted these days. staying clean is a better option for anyone, anywhere, PERIOD. ask any addict, or someone who partied their teens, 20s, 30s away and now manages a WaWa. they'll tell ya.
i got all kinds of friends from all walks of life. been all over the place. seen some F'ed up sh*t happen to friends and family with drugs, booze, etc. you're glorifying opiates on a surf forum. i have something to say about that, and i'm entitled to. that's about it.

 

I was clean and sober until one night a couple of years ago, trying to learn more about wetsuit fit, I came across a South Jetty Bill post on Swellinfo. The hell I've been through since then...
