True. And look where liberal policies and government handouts got them.
50 years later they are still poor and slaves to the welfare state that liberal policies have created.
In fact, their reliance on the government instead of themselves has completely destroyed the black family, once a strong bond in their communities.
The idea that the Democratic party is for the "little guy" and oppressed minorities is the biggest myth in US politics. Their policies enslave the little guy for government dependence and a lifetime of votes, and they continue to live their lives in misery.

YOUR BOY was on tv this morn.......george zimmerman (failed fat felon) is mad at obama
(2nd in his class harvard law, u.s. senator, u.s. president) cause he's not doing enough for him (george).
he's really mad at the black president.

And evidence for exactly what you are saying lies in what al economists are saying--that the economic policies of the last 6 years have made the wealthy wealthier (good!!) but made the poor poorer. (bad!!). Anotehr well thought out plan!! Voting for skin color does not work; it has zero relevance to the economy.
So, to all you dems in the audience....how is that hope and change working for you now?? hahahaha!!

I would tend to agree with this post. Auto and Mfg have returned.

I could not agree more. It's all about what they can post on their Facebook pages and look cool. That was the point to my earlier post that soem took as racist. America's younger generation (sub 35) is "posing" like Shark Hunter.

This is a political prediction of the next 40 years worth of Presidential elections gathered in a straw pol done by the Chavez Group:
Next President: a Woman will serve two terms
Then, a Hispanic will serve two terms
Then, a homer sexual will serve two terms
Then, a Hispanic, homosexual, woman will serve two terms.
Then, a transgender will serve two terms.
Then, seeing that we are all now a nation of 'shiny happy people' the Chinese will finally invade and make us all wear Mao suits.

Okay, I can buy that. Only addition I would say is that the Mao suits will each come with a ball and chain. And allmthe wearers of such suits will be lamenting the fact they voted for Obama, which started that very decline you list. And it is a decline. I will be in Fiji by then paddling out to Cloudbreak!!

So, it would take you a hundred years to list them all but you can't even give us just one for the time being?

Again I'm not for Cruz or Clinton for that matter. All I am showing is the pattern of the US voter and the countries idea of what a president looks like. I will say I do not like Obama, not becasue of his views but becasue of his wishy washy attitude. He seems to not be ale to take a stance and stick to it. IMO the only reason he got elected is becasue he is black (or half anyway) and was different than the prior men who held that office. Problem is that the people who elected him becasue he was different thought that the change woudl occur almost overnight and are now disillusioned since it did not. By the same token many who were against him were convinced the country would spiral in to a black hole never to be the same again and that has not happened. The economy improved as it would based on actions by the Fed. The US kept running down the tracks, set on auto pilot as it has for the past 100+ years.

The point is that in our time the president does not make any true difference in the way the country goes and these men and women we argue over every 4 years are nothing more than "shinny" lures that are dangled in front of the fish to attarct them.

Read some reputable newspapers--they list out everything you need to know. Obama is a failure. "Period"
Economy has recovered DESPITE his attempts to destroy it.
Comparing Obama to Bush has ZERO place in this discussion. It is not one or the other. The failure of one does not vindicate the failure of the second.

Commonly known that Clinton used the emergence if the intraweb and it's need for fiber optics to create jobs. Unfortuanley those were very short term manual labor jobs and once the infastructure was built those folks were out of work. In additon the web compunded this issue by making famous bubble that we all now know burst. And since unemployment was so low people bought houses after lenders extended credit since eveyone thought htis new glorious technology age was going to be the money train. This led to the housing bubble burst which compunded the technology bubble issue since you now had people without jobs in houses they could not pay for. Many economists believe that while Clinton reduced unemployment to one of it's lowest points ever he inadvertanly set us up for the collpase we saw a few years back.

Face it all each subsequent pres does is try and fix the mistakes of the past and unless you got a Delorian and a Flux Capacitor it can't be done. Get over it, the country will continue on auto pilot until the giant asteroid takes the planet out.
