I think your reasoning is a little off here, considering Romney got around 60% of the white vote in 2012.

Kennedy got us into Vietnam, and LBJ perpetuated it for years. Nixon got us out of there. So what's your point?

It's true to a strong degree that most Repubs drag us into the "Military Complex" that Eisenhower warned us about. It seems to be a consistent Repub tenet that war is good for the U.S. Economy, which if true, is sad.

But the point that Southern Comfort is trying to make is that it really doesn't make any difference who is running the country. Both parties have done both good and bad things to and for Americans. And every financial downturn has seen a recovery, no matter who is making the policies.

Then by logical deduction, that would mean that the remaining 40% of white people voted for Obama. How many blacks voted for Romney?

We need to get rid of this two party political system all together, it was never intended to happen. It does nothing but impede on rational thought and determining what's best for the people and the country as a whole. It's turns the people of one nation, who should be working with each other, against each other, as is clearly shown everywhere you look.

It turned the country into "us vs. them" which is nothing but detrimental to figuring out what is the common goal for all people. Sure, we all have different view points, but understanding, and striving for the common good is what we need to do.

I am not against Obama, and have never needed a handout. Show me a better option and I will vote for it. Romney was the worst option. That is all presidential elections end up being today. Gotta pick the lesser of two evils.

So much to discern over the past...let's say 22 years.

First, we have always recovered from recessions...mild to extreme, always (even the great depression). There is always measurable data to prove this. The last 6 years of measurements are not greater than past recessions.

Clinton/Congress actually worked together to get some things done, as the tech industry swelled up. Then Bush Jr. gets the one two punch .com burst and 9-11(not interested in debating the subsequent war that both parties voted for). Bush supported medicare spending to the tune of a lot of f---n money and spent plenty of treasure on the wars. Then the Housing Crisis...

Which get's it's own paragraph. The slack lending standards so everybody can buy home and the subsequent packaging of MBS crushed our economy just as O was taking office...How you doin Mr President? Both Dems and Repubs guilty for the Housing Bubble IMHO.

He (O) proceeded to spend more money than any and all admins (part of it was still war time cost, a bigger gov't, Obamacare, and drones...the continued fight against Radical _______).

Our national debt should be the largest topic in any Presidential Debate. The dollar's strength is no surprise. Your kids will be paying $10 for a loaf of bread.

Both Parties are to blame. The Fed is very powerful. China is going to eat our lunch.

I could never vote for Hillary or Cruz, but if I had to choose....it would be tough:)

Bunch a political gurus up in this joint! Wow i'm impressed with all the knowledge...

Here's a clue... they all suck! Every damn last one of them. No exceptions.

Changing my affiliation to Independent. May or may not ever vote again. I'm over it. Give me a regular dude who actually cares about the people of this country. The real people that is. The workers, the average Joe's. Find me one guy who isn't in it for the money or the power. Just one!

Find that guy and I may just vote for him. Waste of time endorsing these career politicians who don't give a rats ass about you or me, unless of course you are willing to donate / contribute all of your hard earned money to further THEIR agenda. Even if you give them tons of money they still don't care about you, they just care about your money. Stop giving and they have no need for you.

    Wake up people!

Right Immigration Reform is a master plan by democrats.

It has nothing to do with the problem of deporting millions of undocumented beings, right?

Ok, so what do you do besides "Immigration Reform"

Who is going to deport EVERYBODY, and how do you begin to do that not mention pay for it.

Yes, we will build fences and walls. That should stop 'em.

Really, are you guys this simple, really?

    Oh Barry....

No, I view the facts and make educated opinions, which are facts. I don't get my ideas from Rachael Maddow, or not even Larry O'Donnell.
