HA, take that North Jersey !! Dudes, South Jersey was totally going off. Epic...... Ok, I'm exaggerating. But my spot was 3-4' with a plus set, maybe, and clean as the winds blew from the correct location. Yeah F you North Jersey and your SW and W winds, ya c-nts. Nice wedging bowls spinning in a Delaware-fashion...like, 10 yards from shore. So, the sharks couldn't get us as they can't come in that close due to labor and union regulations. Oh hey, it's The Za Gaffer. Hi, Za Gaffer hope all is well in Cullyfornia.
It indeed cleaned up nice for the afternoon sesh at the Lighthouse. Most I counted was 7 guys out and it was really fun...Sounds like we surfed together 757! Good fun!!! If you type and surf the same, I think I remember you cause you were full of stoke!!!
OMG, you know Scott McCrannels !!?? That dude was in the surf mags in the late 80's. As I said before, I spent way too much time reading surf mags as a teen. But that's what stoked groms do. These groms today just ain't stoked because of internet flagellation and the Roxicet. No, not Roxy, the brand of surf, Roxicets.
Ahhhh but yesterday made up for it! Crystal clear water solo session, with chest high A-frames all over the place!
Im sure I did jay! haha it was a great day of waves down there if you were out at the right times. i was out on the twin fin. did you have on a blue and gray suit?
saturday...my spot, only one out for a while, then others showed up, but not many. wtf? friday night was a zoo and with incoming tide it was shatty. couldn't complain though...off shores making a-frames, peeling at the rivermouth, and 5-6 feet at the other peaks...plus when tide was out it was barrrrreling over a reef (that i don't think is surfable as it's a short break right on the rocks) but it was beautiful. one factor, friday was 40*+, sat 34* 20 mph norths and snow...what a bunch of pink tacos...totally great day...not the best by far, but a good day
Maine's crowded these days? Say it ain't so? Yeah I know there was always a "pack" at that Rivermouth place.
by our standards i suppose. i was out for 'cane swell in august at this spot, probably 60-70 people between 3 or 4 peaks. all the snowbunnies/bros be out paddle battleing and messing up drops (a few that you don't see all winter ain't too shabby though). like on friday, probably had my wave of the weekend and some lady on an log comes and floats in on the shoulder screwing up my sheet. then later on after waves got all refractory some big axx dude on an even bigger axx log tries to hoist my peak, but i went all deeeep bottom turn underneath (lucky i didn't lose my head) and made my last wave of the night...then i called it quits...saturday, oh saturday was the day and none of those clammies could be seen for miles. none got the minerals to paddle out on 5-8 ft peaks in less than 40* air and 36* water...it was a fine day and furthermore, i was finally able to get out for a low tide event.
Maine hit 8 foot on Saturday? Wow. Do you ever take yourself out on a quaint date in Ogunquit? Such a nice quaint town, huh? Maine is the best. Mothertrucking vacationland...... How's the moose up there? I saw one in Worcester or Woostaaah. Here's for all you Boston people, you too, Barry: Wait for it.... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Feel free to place any word ending in an "r" in front of the AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I was at a bar on St. Patrick's Day in Boston one year, and I hear a woman next to me say, "I'm gonna sit at the baahh and have a soder." WTF?
I saw a moose once here in the PNW. Biggest, ugliest horse I ever saw. I almost shat myself, it was easily taller than the '96 Discovery I was driving at the time.
