religion shouldn't be involved with politics.politics should be strictly for the people but its more about serving the corporations.we talk shyt about all these terror countries that want sharia law,which is insane,but its no different than America.only difference is u wont get stoned to death or beheaded,youll get 15-20 yrs in prison.me personally I would rather be killed than get that amount of time.people say jail aint so bad.yea in ocean and Monmouth counties lol,but im talking prison here.people do shyt to people they hate and end up there,then realize u are in a place filled with those same people u hate and now u have to live with them for the rest of your life.

laws should be simple,we can even keep it Christian.dont kill,dont steal,dont fuk thy neighbors wife,etc.not 2c:35-r possession of under a gram of any substance will land you 6 months in jail,2 years probation,3000 in fines,automatic 6 month liscense suspension.thats why I quit blunt cruising,u can get all of the above for a roach in your car.sheeeeeeeeeeeit in my shore town,u cant walk 2 minutes to the corner store without seeing 5 different cop cars.that sheit is dead to me.

Cep's posts are the most honest on here. The dude has probably written every single one high as a kite, yet they have more nuggets of truth than the forum can manage as a whole.

Lots of sh*t talking going round, with people yapping about Christ and reductionist politics to no end. But in one post, Cepriano makes light of anti-Obama paranoia , draws frightening parallels between the criminal justice of the U.S. and the middle east (Puritan/Sharia), and then relates it all to why he 'quit blunt cruising.'

I can empathize with your disdain for the heinous things done "in the name of religion". However, I would not be so hasty as to discount the contribution of very rational thinkers who were believers. Perhaps you are unaware of that people over the centuries, with out which, science and technology would not have advanced to where it is today.. men such as Isaac Newton, Leonhard Euler, Gottfried Liebniz, to name a few of many (see list below).

I think you will find that where many of these heinous acts occur, they are not necessarily caused by religious beliefs that are consistent with Christianity, but by people who have their own self seeking agenda who have jettisoned a rational adherence to the base tenets of the faith to an extreme malevolent form that suits their own purposes. You can throw out the baby with the bath water if you wish, but to think that believers would not contribute to a "more knowledgeable, intelligent, reason seeking future" is IMHO folly. History seems to indicate this.
