This guy will NOT get the nomination. I guarantee you, if he even gets close, he will self destruct through his own rhetoric.

Pump, you may buy his main talking points, but he has a history of contradiction and flustering. He can't handle the spotlight. I absolutely encourage you to volunteer and be a good citizen, but if he gets the nomination, I will buy you a case of beer. I promise.

His record of foreign policy statements is laughable. You can't elect a foreign policy moron to lead the most powerful nation on earth... at least not again, not this soon.

He will fall apart in the debates as he has proven he cannot hang in the spotlight. The only thing he has going for him is the caliber of idiocy and corruption that the other candidates posses...

well put s-dog.....but if you think the current prez has a bad foreign policy - and not saying he doesn't -
you solve the probs in the middle-east.

like to think that a candidate is better-qualified than "in the current climate the best one can do is be less corrupt
and idiotic" than his competitors. call me a dreamer.

an entire team of people tell president Oblahblah how to conduct foreign policy. He even admits it. Looks at what is happening with Cuba- he is waiting on the word from his advisers that he can claim Cuba is not a "nation supporting terrorism". Lol, well, we are the ones supporting terrorism, they are very literally shooting at us with our own guns and ammo. Our war on drugs keep the cartels fat and happy, and they directly fund terrorism in the middle east.

Anyhow it would not be any different at all with anyone else in the whitehouse, unless it was a war monger like a Bush... In that case we would be in a full fledged war with russia over the crimea thing, every nation that has had an ISIS sighting would be considered "harboring terrorists", and we would probably be under martial law over the Ferguson thing. Rand's core beliefs are to stay at home, both our politics and our soldiers. I can't help but agree. We can d**k around in the middle east for a 1000 years and nothing will really change. Christians vs islam. USA is like the wrestler on the sideline at wwf that can't contain himself during a match so he climbs in and hits someone with a chair, then rips off his shirt and pounds his chest.

global warming as portrayed by the mass media as a political issue is a hoax. Take it from a kid who studyed it for 4 years. Global warming exists, but its hardly the same beast that the politicians use as a talking point, or the tv fear-mongers with.

He is an antivaxxer, no matter what he claims to be. This is a direct quote:
"I have heard of many tragic cases of walking, talking normal children who wound up with profound mental disorders after vaccines,"
Typical antivaxxer logic, using hearsay and correlation without causation. No antivaxxer actually seems to consider themselves an antivaxxer, though they never hold back sharing bunk studies and poor arguments to scare ignorant people into avoiding vaccines. As for AGW, it is only a hoax if you worship Glenn Beck.

One time in the mid 90's Hillary Clinton was in New Haven for some kind of speech. We were downtwon and somehow knew where the limos would be exiting, so I made a hammer and sickle sign on paper and held it up as she drove by.

hard to buy into it when there seem to be so much data manipulation by the 'experts'. as always, FOLLOW the money and there is tons of in around 'global warming'.

There is tons of money in global warming denial. Not that I would know, since my direct customers for 3 years were some of the biggest names in oil and gas. I honestly don't think there is as much data manipulation as many on the right claim. There is consensus in the scientific community, the thing they can't agree on is the magnitude in which it is happening. The few scientists that deny it all together have always been traced back to biased organizations.

so we're left to our own observations.....
as a 51 year surfer i can say with confidence that the ocean water temp NEVER EVER stayed in the 30's
during the month of march; the entire month.

No, I am sorry, but you are wrong there. There are mounds of independent research on the side that claims AGW is happening. There are even studies by climate change critics showing that it is happening: http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-15373071
Beyond all this data, the ocean acidification is an even bigger issue we face from CO2. This stuff will probably kill us all long before the ice caps are gone. http://www.sciencemag.org/content/348/6231/229

Many people still are missing the fact that weather and climate are two very different things. http://www.economist.com/blogs/economist-explains/2015/03/economist-explains-2

its not global warming its global weirding. Weather patterns get screwy, climates and clines get ****ed with natures unpredictable don't expect temps to rise just because of its tagline.

Global warming has been known about for a long time, its only relatively recently that big money\media got involved. Was first proposed in the late 1800s IIRC. I think it was the 50s when the science behind it really took off.

Like evolution there is a mound of data out there to support it, and very little actual science on the naysayers side.

Its all free and publicly available for people to draw their on conclusions. Problem is 1) It takes work and most people are too lazy to do so (easier to just go get their pre-fab opinion from CNN or FOX) 2) most people, like most topics, have already made up their minds and only look to prove themselves right.

Yes, its real. No the world isn't going to end tomorrow.

Study\learn about feedback loops, important to understand how that influences timelines\etc...
