When I lived in the Bronx I knew some corner boys who were always doing something with rocks, you can call it rolling if you want. And believe they would "defend them sells" no "fkn joke." Is that what you're talking about?
Yes there are unjustified shootings and a lot of trigger happy people. But until you are in a life threatening situation you need to make a concise dicission. Rightfully or wrongfully the discussion was made and you can't take anything back. It's a f up world, hopefully no one hear is ever in that position. Defend yourself. Just hope you never have to take a life over it.
I had a guy chase us down in HS after a passenger of mine threw and egg out of the sunroof and hit his car. When He caught up to us I saw that it was a wanna be thug wigger from my school. My passenger was getting out to tell him he threw it and would make it right when the wigger reached through my window and sucker punched me in the side of the face. I went to to jump out to throw down and he pulled a gun so I stayed in my seat. My buddy was kneeling down beside his car cleaning the egg off with his shirt when the wigger smacks him in the back of the head with the butt of the gun almost knocking him out. I got out to tell him to chill and he started yelling and waiving the gun around. As he got closer to me he lowered it to his side so I knew he was not ready to shoot anyone. He came at me to hit me again and did not see that I had a 16" steel rod held behind my leg. I stepped to the side and cracked him across the face hard. He went straight down with blood streaming everywhere and dropped the pistol. His passenger who had been pretty calm until then made a move towards me and was reaching in to his pocket (I assumed to pull a gun) so I grabbed the pistol the wigger had dropped. The guy had pulled a knife and was charging towards me. I fired once and struck him in the right shoulder area. He did not die but lost a fair amount of blood. I probably could have stopped him by just aiming it at him and telling him to stop but in the heat of the moment my brain said shoot the fuker so I did. Both guys spent weeks in the hospital recovering, the one guy had reconstructive surgery to his nose and cheek and the other had months of rehab to be able to raise his arm due to damage to the shoulder area. They were both charged with assault and illegal possession of a firearm, my buddy was charged with some type of property damage thing and I was free to go. Just saying that sometimes fear/adrenaline take over in the heat of the moment when you are threatened.
Well all because a wigger wanna be thug overreacted to a thrown egg and brought a gun into the situation.
Carter, that's the issue. Trouble creates trouble. I understand where your coming from. Also, you never know what can escalate from something so seemingly harmless. There's always a bigger and badder dog than what you got chained up.
Very true. We were stupid kids who threw and egg and probably deserved a few punches. In that case the thug thought he was the bigger badder dog but learned otherwise when he decided to pull a gun out. It pays to observe your adversary and analyze the situation vs using raw emotion and knee jerk reactions. This is also true for the cops who have been in the news lately too.
I just learned that rcarter had shot someone back in 99. (Crazy story btw) And that gruvi will buy you pizza if you surf with him.
It was in 92. I'm old. Nah Bradley is fine. That was in self defense. I'm not out to hurt anyone and don't seek violence for intraweb banter.
me & a girlie head out to my car after a new years eve party at around 2 AM to get a sleeping bag or something for someone..can't remember. we get whatever the article was and then smooch, just before i initiate, i see two hoodlums walking down the sidewalk. this was around the block from the house i grew up in, so i knew to be aware of what was going on. after said smooch is done, i see kids double back toward us, and as this was around the block from where i grew up my thoughts immediately were, "ahh ****, here we go". kids roll up, one with gun in hand immediately to my face, "ante up". i said i didn't have anything (cause i didn't except a half empty bottle of dewar's back in the house), girlie hands 'em 5$. i take look at the barrel and pretty sure to this day that it was pellet gun so i wasn't too shook, but didn't want to take a chance and find out, or loose an eye. kid one says, "dude looks mad familiar" hands back girlie 5$ and they run down the street and hope in one of them wood paneled mini-vans...you know, the kind they had back in the 80s. so. it pays to be a city lifeguard. and, married said girlie, celebratin' 10 yrs in august and we have 3 year old. so no big violence, and not sure what the story means, but hope you had fun. i did get jumped or harassed a bit while in the hs a block from said houses...but you learn to take it and how to maneuver around it...you know the whiteness and all. make friends with the right people, make direct & respectful eye contact when necessary, and know what to look for and stay away from certain situations whenever possible.
I've been held up at gunpoint buying grass in 1994 in the ghetto, and this is gonna sound crazy but i know there was another time I was held up at gunpoint and I actually don't remember it. I partied really effin hard in the 90s. Carter wins most badass dude on the forum award. This could potentially take the steam out of his hate victims. I keep a 38 in the car at all times, unless I am in NY. I don't ever intend to use it. It would have to be some crazy ish, like being outnumbered and with impending chaos about to ensue on my skull, or somebody talked **** on a thread I posted. You know, life threatening stuff. I have a weird set of core values, my code, if you will. I have never had to enforce the code. Its pretty primitive. In a barbaric society there were times when its okay to kill someone. Someone rapes your daughter, you get a pass to kill them or cut their cock off or whatever. In modern society you don't. You get to watch them do 3-7, out in 2.5 on parole. I think that even in modern society, you've gotta follow through and do the deed. The universe pulled your card, and now its time to sack up and kill a mofo. Theres only a few situations where its relevant, but you catch my drift. But holy ish Carter shot a dude.
Man I'm not badass U2B. I just protected myself and two friends form a thug who was wired wrong. Plus it was only a shot to the shoulder and I was motivated by fear so not sure that qualifies as a badass.
