I don't get no stinkin' refund, I owe, I owe. And I see that Uncle Sam just extracted the $$$ from my bank account, so I'm feeling poor.

 

HA, the whole time I was married, I owed!!! Even Uncle Sam was tryin to tell me to get the hell out!

 

I miss getting a return. I owed just under $900, and was happy about that. My own calculation put me at owing around $4k, but my tax guy really worked some magic.

 

Nah, I knew it was coming. First year filing single after years of married filing joint returns. So basically, I make less now and owe more.

 

Yeah I owed Uncle Sam about $2,300. Sucks that my wife and I lost the child credit.

 

I have to set aside money every month to pay my taxes. Kinda sucks, but hey... the country needs the money.

 

well, maybe the country needs to spend it a little more wisely.....

We have THE MILITARY, but can't defeat a few thousand dudes in bathrobes who are relatively poorly equipped.

So, we have all this weaponry but everyone knows to just fight a gorilla or guerrilla "war," and hide amongst the local populace when things get too hot.

Everyone needs a cellphone, MIS. Don't be so mean. See, I really doubt you would adhere to your peace and love voluntarism whatever the hell that is. You seem to hate many people but dream of a lovey-dovey society based upon goodwill towards others....

Oh, MIS, did you not pay taxes this year?....big chance here to stick it to The Man.

No taxes, no roads. No roads, no surf trips to "The Bridge."

No taxes, no dudes making sure your beef isn't tainted and gross.

No taxes, nobody to come rescue you when you go rock climbing in the sticks and come-up missing.

Isn't that nice? Our government will come look for you if you get lost hiking in the woods.

 

the roads thing is a myth. and Im not saying no taxes. Im saying spend the money better and there would be more of it to go around and less needed from us. The military is not immune either. Its insane to remove a proven aircraft 9and cheap) like the A-10 in favor of the ultra expensive F-35. Our commanders are way to in love with technology.

Spending more wisely... we all need to do that. Everybody's got an opinion on this one. From my perspective, there's gross overspending in some areas, and woeful underspending in others.

"Hillary Clinton...Spending Wisely"... sounds like a great campaign slogan!
